After 32 years

A warm golden glow is beginning to appear over the horizon, announcing another end to the day. The rhythmic sound of crashing waves provided a soothing backdrop while Jungkook sat on his deck chairs with a drink in hand and relaxed, listening to his favorite music.

"Kookah, there's a package for you."
Yoongi's voice came through. Jungkook turned back and saw his husband slowly walking towards him with a parcel in his hands.

He smiled, seeing how beautiful he looked in the warm light. For the last 30 something years, never once has the sight of him made Jungkook think Otherwise.

They are both retired now; they bought a plot beachside, and Jungkook designed their dream retirement house there. Both are now peacefully living their lives. Their children are all grown now. Yes !! Multiple children !!, after they started dating again, they got married pretty fast; it only took a date and a half for them to realize that they belong together as always. They ended up kissing on the first date itself, and Jungkook proposed with the old ring he brought after about a month, which Yoongi immediately accepted. Within 6 months, they both got married at Jungkook's family home in a simple ceremony. Yejun became more attached to his appa Yoongi than his dad and idolized him in everything, and an year later the couple decided that they needed more children and went the adoption route again and adopted a pair of twin infants, a girl and a boy. Yejun followed Yoongi's footsteps and found the finance world more appealing. Despite his disability, he is now a leading marketing and finance researcher. Yejun married Jee, Jimin, and Namjoon's daughter, which came as a surprise for everyone considering how discreet they were, and both couples never knew that they dated until they decided to get married. So they are now relatives and grandpas to two beautiful girls of theirs.

Ji Yoon just had a baby girl with her boyfriend too and has taken over Jungkook's company, which he started after quitting his job.Ji Ho surprised everyone when he chose to become a wildlife photographer and is now spending his time in Amazon forests photographing snakes.

"Come and get it, sweetheart," he called again.
"Babe, bring it here." Jungkook didn't bother to get up from his chair.
Yoongi sighed "You realize that I'm old, right?"
He limped towards him; he has been complaining of getting a bit of knee pain these days..the old age finally getting on to him.
"Old age suits you, babe. You were already an old grandpa when I married you; now you are a real grandpa" Jungkook teased.
"Very funny!! Now open it. I'm curious. It came from overseas, I think."

Jungkook opened his package slowly to find a stack of what looked like old letters, on top of that was an envelope letter addressed to him. He opened the letter first, with Yoongi peeking over through his shoulders .
Jungkook's eyes watered the moment he read the first lines.

Dear Uncle Jungkook,

It's Yuna; I'm Kim Seokjin's daughter. We haven't met each other, but I have heard a lot about you and your husband from my father.

I m writing this to inform you that my dad passed away last month. It was peaceful, and he was not in pain. He went to sleep and never woke up. While I was moving his things, I got these letters that he had written for you. I'm sorry, I read a few just to know who it was for. It took me a while to find your new address, which is why this letter is reaching you late.I guess dad never intended to send you this so he never left an address for me but I think this belongs to you and you deserve to have them.
