Meaningless[Chamber x Viper Story](Discontinued)

Mission

Viper was watching the ocean, sitting comfortably. She wanted to rest, just sleep right now, and never wake up. She felt someone sitting next to her.

"You can sleep if you want to; I'll wake you up when it's time to go."

She heard Chamber. Chamber smiled, putting an arm around Viper's neck. Viper didn't have any energy to say anything, so she leaned against his chest and closed her eyes. Chamber watched Viper's face carefully. She slowly relaxed, her breath slowing down. Chamber smiled, playing with Viper's hair. (They are in the outside part of the boat.)

Omen walked outside, looking for Viper. He froze when he saw Chamber and Viper's position. He sat in front of them and looked at Chamber.

"I didn't know you guys were close."

"I don't think we are close."

Omen tilted his head right.

"Sabine wouldn't let you do this if you weren't close to her."

Chamber looked at Viper again. He was happy.

"I don't know; she was tired."

Omen sighed.

"Chamber, I know you love her. I want you to promise me one thing."

Chamber nodded, looking at Omen.

"Promise me; you won't ever hurt her in any way. "

"I promise."

Viper felt someone patting her shoulder softly.

"It's time to go, wake up."

She heard Chamber say. She opened her eyes, yawning. She quickly got ready.

"You looked so cute sleeping."

"Don't push my limits, Chamber."

Chamber smiled, and they both walked outside the boat.

"Anyone who doesn't remember their role?"

Brimstone asked. After some silence, he talked again.

"Good."

Viper took a deep breath before wearing her mask. The flower scent was beautiful.
Everyone got into their places. Sage heard some footsteps.

"Someone on the C site."

Sage told everyone. Omen peeked through, only to get a mullet on his head.

"We need backup!"

Sage said on the radio.

Brimstone and Jett arrived. Brimstone looked at Omen.

"What happened?"

"He got a shot right at the head."

Jett sighed.

"You heal him, Sage. We won't let them in."

Viper and Chamber ran to the site, Chamber instantly helping them to fight. Viper saw Omen.

"Why isn't he healed yet?"

"The mullet is at the part of him that helps him to concentrate. You know he will die if it doesn't concentrate."

Viper sighed, helping others to fight.
After a long fight, they didn't let them inside the site and won.

They all came back.

"We need a hospital bed ready!"

Sage shouted. After putting Omen in a bed, Sage continued her healing.

Viper was watching all of this. Chamber took Viper's hand, taking her out of the room.

"Chamber, let me go."

"It's not good for you to exhaust yourself after a big mission."

"You can not decide what's good for me."

"It's bad for any human being, Viper."

Viper sighed and forcibly removed her hand from his.

"I am not a human being. You don't know me."

She said coldly.

"You don't know anything about my past, my personality. The most important thing is you don't know anything about how important Omen is to me. You are trying for nothing, Chamber. It's so fucking meaningless. We can't be together."(I know it sounds weird, bear with it)

She said in one breath. Chamber looked at her eyes, sighing.

"See you later..."

He said, walking off. He knew she was just angry and told anything that came to her mouth. Viper walked inside the room, looking at Omen. She held his hand softly.

"He is going to be okay, right?"

Sage looked at her eyes, sighing.

"I'm sorry, Viper. I'm not sure."

Viper looked at Omen.

"Is there anything I can do?"

"No, I'm sorry."

Viper looked at Omen once more before leaving the room to get her things.

Chamber walked to the boy's part of the base. He sat down next to Cypher.

"Fade said Viper doesn't have any love interest for now."

Cypher told Chamber.

"Thank you."

"Why are you so down?"

"I kinda fucked things up.."

Brimstone walked inside the room where Viper sat alone.

"I'm sorry Viper, but I'm sure he will okay."

Viper nodded, looking at the direction Brimstone is in.

"So, I need a favour from you. You need to keep an eye on Chamber because Fade thinks he might be a trouble to us. She thinks he is not trustworthy."

Brimstone says. Viper nods, sighing.

"Yeah, I'm sure he wouldn't mind me keeping an eye on him.."
