Chapter 17

Gipsy's Pov.

I glared at the Kaiju as it roared and charged towards me. I braced my as I stepped to the side, making the Kaiju miss his attack. I kept my focus on it as flashes of my last fight flooded my mind. Making me tense in place but I was snapped back into reality and ducked from an on coming attack. 'Focus Gipsy, find a weak point. Find a weak point.' I kept repeating as I dodged another attack.

I see the orb the sat in the center of it's shoulder. Taking my chances I got behind the Kaiju as I gripped the orb tightly and ripped it completely off. I threw it aside as it roared and grabbed a hold of me. I tensed as my mind flashed, seeing knife head. I came back too as I threw several hard blows to it's head. "Put me down you fucker!" I yelled as I landed another hard hit to its face.

It roaring as it threw me back, I went flying back and hit the docks. I rolled back onto my feet and skidded to a spot. I groaned as I looked back up as the Kaiju charged me. I gritted my teeth as I forced myself forward and charged it. Once close I activated the thrusters on my back as it jumped and as I came down. I brought my fist down and contend it with its head. Making it stop and go down with the blow.

I grunted as it grabbed me again and started pushing me along as it tried getting me to lose balance. 'Gipsy! Empty your clip into the ugly fuck!' I listened as I heard Raleigh's voice over my coms. I quickly activate my blaster and jammed it into the Kaiju's side. I fired shot after shot into the chest, I growled as it still came. "Die already!!" I yelled in frustration and slight panic as I've never seen a Kaiju take this many hits and still be standing.

I panted as the damn thing finally went down. I tossed them aside and huffed as I shot a few more rounds into it's corps. "Double tap, bitch." I deactivated my blaster and turned towards the city."_53 Seeing the other Kaiju already starting to make waste to it. I glared as I looked around and saw a large ship. 'Gipsy! You alright!?' I made my way over to the ship as I picked it up. "Yea Raleigh, never better. Get Striker back to base, his systems are fried from the shockwave and will need to be air lifted back." I said as I entered the city, dragging the ship with me.

'What are you doing?' I heard my partner ask and I smirked "I'm gonna play some ball." I said as I cut the line.

Striker's Pov.

I groaned as I had forced myself to shallow water. I growled as I watched Gipsy fight on her own. I hated not being able to help. I was forced to sit and watch but I couldn't help but be intrigued by her skills. She was even better in combat,  I sighed as I looked down. 'Striker, assistance is on its way for ya.' I lifted my head slightly at hearing Herc speak. "What about Gipsy?" I groaned out as I tried standing again.

'She's a big girl Striker, the bitch can handle herself.' I growled as I heard his son speak. "I just watched that fuckun Kaiju tare Crimson's head off, the thing is smarter than the rest!" I snapped as I forced myself to stand. 'Striker' I stopped as I heard Gipsy over the coms. 'I'll be fine. I always fought alone and made it out alive.' she spoke and I listened. 'Get back to base, don't let Alpha and Crimson's sacrifices be in van.' she finished before cutting the line.

I sighed as I watched the helicopters reach me. "Just be careful Gipsy." I spoke as I was lifted back to base.
