Chapter 19

Striker's Pov.

"GIPSY!?" 

My accent strong as I cried out as we all watched from the launching bay as Gipsy was suddenly dragged under. I was being held in place by a supporter as I was being repaired during the whole ordeal. I struggled as the engineers scrambled back from me to keep from getting hurt "Stricker, stand down!" "I can't stand here! The fuckin things got Gipsy an like hell if they'll take her from me!" I snapped at Stacker as he ordered me to stand down "Stricker! You can't do anything to help her if you can't even walk!" I snapped my head to the platform beside me as my human comrades stood there. I panted as I growled an balled my fists before hitting my head back against the support, making the platform shake. "Fuck..." I said defeated as the workers got back to work on me as they couldn't waist time as we still had a mission. "I'm sorry Stricker" I heard Herc start to say as it was most likely the damn thing had already gone but I snapped my attention to the bridge. "Gipsy's signal is back online, she's still alive!" I watched as Herc an his son rushed over as I watched where I stood along with Gipsy's on partner. "It didn't kill her? Why?" I heard Chuck say an asked confused and I glared in determination. "Where?" I asked as they all turned to me.

"She is at the breach...but I see two jaeger signals." I frowned at that as everyone grew confused "did one of the others make it?" Stacker asked confused but Ops shook his head "No it's...coming from Gipsy herself. But that means." I froze instantly at his words as the world spun slightly as if I was going to actually pass out. "Gipsy's pregnant...." I said in disbelief as everyone looked at me shocked. "What are we waiting for?! If that's the case, there's truly no time to waist!" I looked up at Raleigh as he looked just as determined and all the humans working around me double timed my repairs. "You didn't know, did you?" I looked at Herc as he an the other partner pilots to the jaegers turned to me. I shook my head "No....we had hooked up tho.." I admitted the relationship between the two of us. "I would of never let her fight if I had known." I added and looked back to the ground as it now made since of why she was so quick to lose her temper when she was normally able to ignore. "We'll get her back Stricker." I looked up at my partners and nodded firmly as I balled my fists "Hell right we will."

Gipsy's Pov. 

I gasped as I suddenly wake up, I instantly looked around as I saw I was under water  at my lack of fast movements. I checked my scanners I felt my core drop as I saw where I was "The breach.." I said before snapping my head up as I heard movement in the dark waters around me. I forced myself up as I looked for the source and I quickly tried my coms "This is Gipsy Danger, does anyone read me-" I was cut off as I was suddenly knocked back. I stumbled before I was knocked on my ass by another large mass, I gritted my teeth at the whiplash before I felt teeth dig into my shoulder. I yelled out as I was then dragged, looking up I saw what looked to be a category 4 as its head was shaped more like a bull as it dragged my towards the edge of the breach. I glared and went to activate my free arms blade but I snapped my head as another category 4 clamped its jaws around my wrist. I yelled out in pain once more as they held my arm tight as they worked together now pulling me. I grew confused as this was unlike kijua behavior as all attacked on sight but they were subduing her. 

Soon the two letting her go only to force her onto her knees facing the breach. I struggled but my head throbbed from the blow that had knocked her out in the first place. But I tensed as the breach began to open and I stared in shock as large an much larger kijua slowly rouse up. The thing being twice the size of the other two keeping her pinned, I watched as the new one roared as it carried in the water and made my frame vibrate. I panted as it leaned closer to me and I tried pulling back but bullhead grabbed my helmet as it held me in place. I grew uneasy as the kijua leaned close as if studying before its head shifted more towards her stomach. Making me struggle slightly as it stayed put, it crackling its jaw as it gave a hiss like roar as it turned to the others. I frowned confused as it almost looked like they were..communicating? But soon the largest one turned back as it leaned back once more, towering as its mouth opened. 

"Pup is strong an viable~ Precursor's~ want new generation alive~"

I froze as the beast rasped out in broken english as it got in my face again "What the fuck?" I asked myself in shock an disbelief before it grabbed me with it's tentacles that made its lower haft. I snapped back as I growled and without warning my blades drove through the tentacles, making it roar in pain as it slung me away. I landed roughly as I rolled to my feet, gritting my  teeth again as I looked up as bullhead rammed my. I grabbed his horns as it attacked keeping its teeth from sinking into me. I went to bring my blade down but I screamed out in pure pain as my right arm was completely ripped off me. I scrambled back as I held my shoulder, I panted and looked horrified at my arm being gone. But I barely had time to process as I felt teeth sinking into my right leg, I cried out once more and lifted my left arm as I drove my blade thought its head. It roaring as I barely held it down but I saw the thermal vents and grunted as I forced bullheads face into the scalding water "Chew on this bastard!" I roared at the damn creature before it broke free as my blade sliced through its skull but it still lived as it swam back to recover.

I panted as I stabled myself on another tall thermal vent, I wasn't able to recover as I saw the second category 4 came charging at me with its jaws wide. I gritted my teeth as I cried out forcing my blade forwards as it sliced right through it, its own momentum forcing my blade deep before finishing with its tail. I stumbled forwards as I looked back as I had sliced the thing completing in two, I panted heavily as my helmet flashed warning signs of my systems. Showing imminent shutdown do to the heavy damage I had taken. I swallowed hard as I looked an saw the other two glaring back as the two circled.

"fighting in van~ you can never win~" 

I snapped my head towards the same one that spoke and I gritted my teeth as I forced myself to stand even with my battered leg an missing arm. "Jaegers....never stop fighting, we stand till we can't....and i'm taking you down with me." I said firmly as I steadied myself seeing I wasn't going to leave. They roared an bullhead had went to charge me but it stopped as a light came thoughts the dark waters. I turned as I saw a familiar face as his blades "Really thought I was gonna let ya die down here?" Striker said as I heard him through coms and the kijuas roared as the one I had injured circled him.  I couldn't help but smile as I was beyond relieved at the sight of him "About time, getting my ass kicked." I grinned weakly as he stood by me. Us now standing side by side as we faced the kijua.
