Waking up next to Leila was one of the many things I've enjoyed doing. The ray of sunshine stroke her eyes and she moved a little. I put my hands in front of her to cast a shadow that shields her eyes from the shine. She's too cute!
I didn't tell Leila that the meeting with friends' thing was today. I guess I just forgot.
*cring cring cring*
Sadie Sunk. Said my phone.
"Hello buddy!" I greeted the girl.
"Touch down Canada!" She shouted over the phone.
"I'm too excited!"
"I'll see you in a bit!"
Never have I ever been too excited to see Sadie.
Leila woke up. I put my phone on the bedside table and cuddled her.
"Good morning, Finn!"
"Good morning, Leila!"
She rubbed her eyes, and I stood up.
"So, uh— I forgot to tell you how SOON my friends will be here," her eyes widened.
"Oh my god... When? Finn don't tell me—" she sat on the bed and put her hands on her mouth.
"Yes, today. Actually, they're already here,"
"Oh no— I have to get ready. I obviously can't meet them like this," she got out of the bed and started looking for the dress she wore last night.
"I sent your dress to the laundry, you can take my pajamas on the way home," I smiled at her.
She finally stood up and went outside my room.
"I'll pick you up at 11?"
"Sure! Thank you for letting me stay for the night, see you later!" She closed my door.
I didn't know what just happened. I just stood there watching everything happen.
LEILA RAVEN'S POV
It was fast and strange. I woke up, I stood up, I watched Finn throw me off as if the gentleman that he was last night had washed off. What is up with Finn this morning? Did I do something wrong? He didn't even bother to ask if I wanted a drive home. So, he'll just let me walk? What happened? He isn't like this for sure. But what happened? Is that the way he is every morning?
"I guess I'll see you later, Finn?"
"I'll see you later, Leila,"
I went out the door and Finn closed it. That feeling is odd. It was an overnight thing and then suddenly Finn lost his gentlemanliness or whatever it is? I refuse to believe so. The boys I used to sleep with were exactly like this. I didn't know Finn wouldn't be any different.
This feels like a dream, this feels like a dream. Pinch yourself so that you would know that it's real. Ouch. That hurt. This must be real.
One night he wakes
Strange look on his face
Pauses, then says
"You're my best friend."
And you knew what it was
He is in love
