(4 months later)

You're sitting on your bed, it's winter break. When ashtray, your friends crush calls you. Sofi has liked him for like a few months now, he's expressed that he doesn't like her but she still can't get her mind off of him. You're also a bit mad at her, she's sure Ashtray likes you, and decided to try to bring y'all
Together. It's obvious y'all don't like each other, you're just really good friends.

You answer the call, seeing his face and purple LEDs on. You also see his bald ass head and wife beater, you wonder how Sofi likes him. To you, he's bout the ugliest guy you've ever seen.

"Hii rabies" says ashtray, rabies is a nickname he gave you after you said you'd bite him after he said he was abt to smack the shit out of you.

"How are you, princess?" You also gave him a nickname, you call him CP. Cunt princess, cause he's a little cunt to you most of the time.

"I'm fine, what are you doing?" He said he while going to lay down on his bed.

"I'm doing nothing" you say, knowing what he's gonna say next. The same always happens.

"What do you mean nothing?" He says, knowing it annoys you.

"you're so annoying Ash" you say with a hint of sarcasm in your voice. He doesn't ever notice.

You guys continue making fun of each other and talking all night, until the call gets kind of deep. You start telling him shit, you guys got close quick. So you've opened up to him quite a lot. You've told him everything, it's so funny none of your other friends that you've known for years know what you've told him. You feel safe with him. It's funny.

"honestly I feel so embarrassed, I don't want to go to school tomorrow." You say, your voice breaking a little.

"why do you feel like that? I don't want you to feel that way." He says, which makes you get nervous. I don't want you to feel that way? Butterflies start to develop, but before they can even blossom you crush them. Wtf y/n? your bestfriend likes him!! You can't have any feelings for him.

You tell him everything that happened at school, kinda crying during it again. It's so embarrassing,
But you feel safe with him. So you let it go. He stays quiet for a little, thinking. Which makes you nervous, did I make stuff weird?

"You'll be fine. They're js assholes anyways. They don't know you like I do" caterpillars develop this time, wanting to blossom into beautiful butterflies. There's no flowers for these butterflies though, so you crush them.

You keep talking accidentally falling asleep. You wake up, the call ended. But he texted you throughout the night. These calls start to be daily rituals. You don't see ashtray at school, yall don't go to the same school. So you guys only
Text and call after school, sometimes you hang out though.

Few more months of this, and you find out Ash is a plug.

"you're actually a plug? And you've never smoked?" You know he's lying, he js liked to Sofi bc he knows she's deep down a little annoying.

"Nah I haven't, have you?" He says, lying.

"I have, there's no way you havent." You say trying to chase the truth out of him.

"Nah, I have." finally, the truth.

"Wanna go out soon w my friend? He has something he wants to smoke and I wanted to invite you." He says, you don't know if you should go.

"Sure" you say, knowing it might not even happen.

These nightly rituals continue and your feelings blossom. This time you can't stomp it. He's consumed every waking thought. You don't even know if he likes you. You wish he does, knowing you guys can't ever be together. You hope he does, it's a wish come true. But you'll end up telling him you don't feel the same. Even though you do. You'll always put your girlfriends infront of you, and Sofi is a really important friend to you.
