Soobin had to admit, once again, that he was sort of hoping to 'accidentally' bump into Yeonjun. After their most recent encounter at the cafe, Soobin had been returning more often to the warm aroma, in his hopes to just catch a glimpse of the pink faerie.

In that time, he learned a few more things about Limbo:

Limbo was basically built similarly like fleshbag society. They had the homes, civilisation and economy except the technology they use have not been adopted yet.

To get around, you either have to walk or take a carriage. Which was a bit disappointing to someone who wanted to drive those shiny vehicles.

There was a regular council meeting held once every two months, this month's just a few days away. He was notified by Jungkook who, again, didn't give much clear detail.

So that was that, plus Soobin cowering away inside his dark home whenever he wasn't forced to go out by his alpha.

Please, let's go out. His alpha pleaded, clawing around in the back of Soobin's head, I need to hunt, eat, kill...

Soobin groaned but he knew the alpha was right. If they don't hunt soon, it'll drive Soobin insane to the point where he can't control his desire to kill, causing a bloody massacre.

'Fine, we'll head into the dark woods later. Not now. Hold out for a bit longer.' And before his alpha could growl at him, a scroll appeared in front of him. He stared at it sitting there on the coffee table before snatching it. He examined the scroll, coming to the conclusion that it was sent using demon magic, so he unrolled it.

Inside it read; 'Yo, Soob. You probably need to hunt soon, so I'm gonna be the caring one here and send you locations on where the best spots are! Look forward to hunting flesh bags and other creatures and weirdos~! Goodnight tonight!'

Soobin clutched the scroll tightly, making it crumble and scrunch to a parchment ball. He stood up, making his way into a study room that he later discovered in the house, and took his own set of parchment and ink. He wrote a short reply; 'I'd say sweet dreams but there aren't any left.' Then he scrolled it, sealed it with black wax imprinted with his family name before swirling his finger and sending it off to Jungkook.

The demon stretched, standing up and hands interlocked far above his head. Perhaps he should hunt now rather than later, ignoring the higher chances of seeing the faerie during daytime. So he did.

He trudged along into the woods, low and steady with every step. He followed the tracks Jungkook said he left around to pinpoint the location which was easy enough, considering the fact that Jungkook left around tracks unintentionally anyway.

Apricots.

Oh that stench of artificial apricots.

Human...

Soobin's alpha growled, almost taking complete control of him with the sudden thrashing movement. He snarled at him, taking back full control.

'I'll decide where we go from here.'

His alpha clawed against the barrier Soobin had set up in his head, Damn you fucker

Soobin bared his teeth, canines growing sharper and longer before snarling with a growl. His appearance was now similar to a vampire, eyes bloodshot red and canines similar to fangs. Then he started prowling. His back was hunched due to his height rocketing to almost 3 metres. He was currently in his man-wolf form. In all of Soobin's 83 years of being alive, he had never got the opportunity to taste human flesh. He's heard so much about the tender meat, sweet tangy blood and satisfying crunch of bones.

The demon's mouth pooled with saliva, starting to drool to the forest floor. He started sprinting. With the demon ducking and swooping past branches and animals on the ground, Soobin enjoyed the way the wind brushed against his fur and how the adrenaline that started pumping through him made him feel invincible.

Quickly, the scent of the fleshbag made its way into the alpha-demon's heightened scent of smell, a quiet grumble rumbling through its chest. He pulled himself low to the ground, forest leaves gently moving out of his way with every step forward. When the human was in eyesight, Soobin licked his lips; unable to wait to taste the flesh any longer but he decided to wait just a bit more. The human with long blonde locks was facing her side to Soobin so if he decided to attack now, she would be aware of his presence and run away.

His eyes narrowed into his curiosity of what the human girl was doing. It appeared that she was looking for something; pushing piles of fallen leaves off the surface of the dirt ground while muttering to herself, giving Soobin the sudden impression of a chipmunk. Shaking his head swiftly to get back into hunting, he pushed his chest and chin to the ground, almost laying flat except his limbs of back legs hunched back into the air. Slowly, the blonde turned around, her back facing Soobin, completely vulnerable. The demon's tail wagged like a puppy, before jumping on the human, slashing her chest and pushing her underneath, then his jaws clamped shut on her neck. Her screams seasoning the satisfying crunch.

When he was done with his meal, his alpha howled happily. Soobin shifted back into his natural form. By the time he had finished, the sun had begun to rise. Time flies by when you're on a hunt. He started making his way back, wiping the blood stains from his mouth and hands onto the torn clothes of his prey from earlier. His fangs had slowly shrunk back into an average size of a human canine and from there, he smirked at the aftertaste of the human. All meeting his expectations.
