Okay so, maybe this isn't how it was meant to go. Yeah. It wasn't. Because Soobin wasn't planning to be caught anything but dead with bread stuffed into his stretchy cheeks. Except he did. By someone he wouldn't like to see him in this state as a first impression. Someone pink, fluttery and has the name Yeonjun.

Currently, he's sitting in the bakery with Yeonjun across from him. The chocolate croissant Soobin ordered earlier had arrived shortly after Yeonjun had caught him, and the longer it sat there on that plate, the colder it was going to get.

"I don't think I caught your name?" Yeonjun asks quietly, his hands fiddling with each other underneath the table on his lap. His groceries beside his feet, tucked away safely.

He looked up at the black haired demon. The stunning demon he saw almost a week ago, never leaving his mind.

He felt so embarrassed because of Beomgyu doing whatever careless drama in front of not one but two hot demons. It wasn't safe to say that Yeonjun wanted to run away and shove his face into the next puddle of water he saw.

Now looking at the demon in a less chaotic environment and less of a drastic tension, it was easy to come to the conclusion that this demon was too sinful to look at. Not a surprise, of course. What the surprise was though, was that he wasn't wearing his blindfold.

Black hair brushed, drooping over his sharp almond eyes, leaving barely any light to reflect in his dark irises. The demon's nose was sculpted but smooth, the nostrils flared at a sharp inhale through them and Yeonjun almost laughed at how cute it was. What was next was how pale the demon was, his lips a colour that brought some warmth to his cold tone. And Yeonjun couldn't forget the tall height of the demon either, he was only 170 centimetres tall and the demon was almost 20 centimetres taller than him or more. He won't lie that the height difference sent some butterflies to his tummy.

"Mhmm, it's Soobin. Choi Soobin." The demon spoke after taking a sip from his teacup, legs stretched, passing Yeonjun's feet and resting underneath Yeonjun's chair. Yeonjun tried to hide his surprise with it, careful to not accidentally nudge his legs.

The awkward silence afterwards was noticeable even with the background noise of chattering and cluttering of cutlery. So Yeonjun quickly spoke up, "Oh! I'm Choi too! Choi Yeonjun," his smile faltering the moment Soobin nodded at him, looking away to take another sip of tea. "Do you like bread?"

Soobin looked back at him, a smile in his eyes that was barely there, but the faerie saw it perfectly clear. "Yeah I do." Yeonjun nodded, delighted that he was talking to him. "And you?"

"I'm not particularly picky with food but I have a massive sweet tooth and high spice tolerance—oh and I love savoury food too. You can never hate savoury food or salty food! I normally just gulf down whatever is in front of me then asking for another serving—." Yeonjun turned red at how much he just blabbered on to Soobin, whom he's only met not even twice, but he sheepishly grinned when Soobin cracked a surprised smile, eyes a bit wide at the sudden swarm of information.

Soobin coughed, regaining his calm look before gently tapping the table to get Yeonjun to focus. "Would you like anything? My treat." Yeonjun was surprised, refusing immediately that Soobin didn't have to, but the demon brushed him off, already heading to the counter.

Soobin came back shortly after, tucking his wallet away into his back pocket. "I ordered you some brownies and an iced americano, if you don't mind." Yeonjun smiled at the polite manner of Soobin, thanking him.

"Like I said, I'm not picky at all and I love iced americanos!" He grinned and Soobin sighed in relief. From then onwards they continued to talk; talking about Jungkook, his recent arrival and when Beomgyu and he first met in the woods.

"You really should be careful though. Beomgyu was kind enough, from how he usually is, to let you go." Yeonjun worried, things could've gone south if it wasn't Beomgyu Soobin bumped into.

"Yeah, I figured. Things work differently around here, and I can say that I'm not completely settled down either. I barely know how to get around too." Soobin sighed, his first week wasn't the best; he was stuck at home, unable to socialise or get around with Jungkook being busy, and the fact that he was also hoping to bump into the pink faerie with moonlight eyes was a low chance.

"But you found this cafe?" Yeonjun curiously asked. This cafe in particular was a rare gem, hidden behind a massive garden of trees at the front, at the end of a quiet street. Only those who have been searching for it or have been brought to it by a friend or someone, would've found where it was, certainly not someone who came upon it by accident.

"My nose brought me here. The smell here is divine." Soobin pointed to his nose, Yeonjun's eyes following every movement. It was cute, him acting similar to a cat following a toy laser. Yeonjun nodded, understanding that the aroma of the cafe travelled very far.

Soon enough, a waitress came over, placing the plate of large chocolate brownies and an iced americano in front of Soobin, winking at him in a horrible attempt before heading back behind the counter, not forgetting to sway her hips in the process. Yeonjun watched every movement, lips sucked in like he ate a lemon, trying not to accidentally burst into any type of snicker.

Soobin, on the other hand, paid no attention to the waitress, labelling her as a whore in his head. He pushed the plate of brownies and iced americano smoothly over to Yeonjun, nodding his head before leaning back into his seat with his arms crossed.

Yeonjun thanked him cheerfully before stuffing his cheeks full of chocolate brownies. If he only looked up then, he would've seen the fond smile of the demon.

Chocolate Croissant forgotten.
