Anais Point of View

"Damon, is she really your daughter?" one of the elders asked my father when the meeting finished.

Dad sighed and nodded. Bakit ayaw ba kase nilang maniwala?

"I'll stop asking if I were you. My daughter seemed be honey when it comes to us but she's different in person who's out in our circle."

My eyes widened, nagulat ako ng sabihin iyon ng ama ko.

He knew my doings?

I never knew that Dad knows how I treat others when it's not my family. I'm only kind to them, not with strangers.

"Well then, allow me to test h—" he hasn't finished his sentence when he threw a blade at my direction but due to his surprise, he almost drop his jaw when the blad stopped in mid air.

Kaagad kong kinontrol ang patalim na patungo sana sa akin at tinapon ko iyon sa deriksyon ng Count, he's Count Rysee from the south. They're known for their factories here.

I won't kill this man, he's useful.

Ngumiti ako nang pilit sa count at 'tsaka hinawakan ang ama ko't naglaho. We're now in front of our manor and unexpected guest was seen.

It's the King inside our manor, napapalibutan sila ng mga knights nila upang protektahan.

The heck, our knights won't harm someone without our orders.

Kunot noo akong napatingin sa ama ko. "I forgot to tell you, the majesty has sent a letter to visit. Now, I want you to take the prince with you in the capital. Anais, my daughter. The Prince's sake is at your hands. Hindi ko alan kung paano mo lilinisin ang utak ng prinsipe, but I trust my genius daughter."

Kaagad akong napatango nang seryuso sa mga sinabi ng ama ko. Kaya naman ay wala na kaming hinintay na oras at lumapit sa hari na ngayon ay may mga knights na nakabantay sa kanila. It's for their safety, it's not out knights but it's theirs.

As soon as we faced them we immediately bowed down. I think my mom isn't here since the king haven't entered our manor, there's no one to welcome the majesty.

"Eternal Glory to the King of Wisteria and for the prince of the kingdom," father made a greeting.

I frowned. So that's how we should greet them? I thought it's just good day and something. I didn't know that. Well, the hell I care with etiquette.

"At ease." kaya naman ay kaagad kong iniangat ang ulo ko nang sabihin iyon ng hari.

"Rude. Bowing down unwillingly." hindi nakatakas sa aking pandinig ang bulong ng prinsipe ng magtama ang tingin namin.

"It's our honor to be visited by the majesty, but would you mind if I ask what made you visit our little manor, my king?"

Hindi ko mapigilang mapaismid. Saan banda ang little sa manor na ito?

It's almost bigger than the actual castle of the king!

Pinaanyayahan na ng ama ko ang hari na pumasok pero kaagad akong nagsalita.

"Your majesty, can I take the prince with me to the capital? I would love to show him something." Halos mabilaukan ako sa sarili kong sinabi.

The prince face went sour that made me irritated.

This boy! Does he think I want to be with him also?!

The king's face seemed delighted upon hearing me. Ugh, disgusting.
