Azury's Point of View

I remember so much details. Simula no'ng una ko siyang makita.

"Who are you?" that just came out from my mouth since I am confused why there's a lady wearing a mask in my castle's garden.

Nakatalikod siya sa akin pero alam kong alam niya na narito ako. It was so late back then. I detected an unfamiliar mana within my palace and to confirm that, a lady is here.

That was the first time I saw her. It's been days and she made me unable to think clearly. That lady in mask have caught me in error.

"Your majesty why do you want me to marry that Anais?!" I was fuming mad back then when the King just made a decision.

Gusto niya akong ipakasal sa babaeng Faramir na hindi ko naman gusto.

"At bakit ayaw mo? This is for the sake of the kingdom." I immediately clenched my fist.

Alam ko ang ginagawa ng haring 'to, I am just going with the flow. I want the crown. I made him manipulate me, I became someone I didn't know... but whenever I'm around that Faramir lady. Hindi ko namamalayang umaakto ako sa totoong ako.

"But I like someone else already, my King."... which is true. I still can't get the lady with mask off my head.

I want to see her again. I badly want to.

"And who else may that be? Makabubuti ba 'yan sa kaharian?" if only I don't have nullifying ability, this king might have successfully brainwashed me.

I suddenly remember the night, in masquerade ball. I saw her once more, the girl who's always hiding her face. Well, I am aware she's an enemy. She was wearing red and it looks goddamn good to her.

"May I have a dance?"

I really didn't know why I offered a dance. Pero hindi ko naman inaasahan ang pagpayag nito. She's a fire I would like to play and burn my hands with.

Though, it'll cause me death.

"Seraph." So that's her name? I bet that's a fake one.

I still remember what happened after that party, an incident where I confirm she is a threat and an enemy. She's so dangerous, especially in my heart.

"How unfortunate babe, we kinda have the same ability." I greeted my teeth as I started to get mad at this woman.

But I wanna curse and hit myself when all I could think is that. She fucking called me babe?! She called me babe!

I'm an idiot.

How the hell I let myself be captured by an enemy.

Her eyes and the Faramir's eye are quite similar. That's how I started to notice. I am not dumb as what she's thinking.

"Thank you so much your majesty. Your son, deserves better. Not me, because I am the best, not just better. " hindi ako makapaniwalang tumitig sa babaeng Faramir.

I am already annoyed by her presence but I'm not expecting her to annoy me on purpose.

"Red doesn't suit you." I lied.

At her birthday, I knew something but I cannot risk it. I cannot risk what I've built.

And I fucking knew. Alam na alam kong iisa lang siya at ang babaeng palagi kong iniisip. Seraph and her is the same person. What the heck man, why I'm being nuts just because of that girl.

"I-I won't forgive you." that broke my heart. I never seen her like this. Her voice almost broke and sounded fragile.

Hindi ko siya magawang hawakan o yakapin sapagkat hindi niya 'yon magugustuhan at mas lalong hindi pwede. We are enemy.

"Are you sure, Anais? Are you sure that you're doing what's right, right now?" I sounded so frustrated.

She laughed a bit, thinking I am lying. I gulped.

I am not the one who did that babe. I didn't, I cannot. I would never.

Yes, I fucking knew that they have some plan but I am not expecting they will go this far!

Ramdam ko ang panginginig ng kamay niya. How I badly want to hold it.  "You are about to kill the queen right? Then, I'll remind you Anais, I am the prince. I won't let you ruin me."

I am aware of her plans. I knew all of them.

"I already ruin you, Azury. I already did.".... you just didn't ruin me. You fucking destroy and pulverized me Anais. You freaking did, no'ng una pa lang ng paglapag ng mata ko sa 'yo. Sinira mo na ako matagal na.

"Did he succeed?"

I immediately blink. Natauhan ako sa boses ng hari.

Shoot. Am I spacing out again?

"Y-Yeah, Amara is dead now." may halong pait ang pagkakasabi ko no'n pero hindi ko na pinahalata.

Isang nakalolokong ngiti ang sumilay sa labi niya. "Sino ang susunod na mamamatay?" The king ask.

I am about to answer but I haven't when a familiar lady just appeared inside the chamber.

Halos mapunit ang mukha ko sa pagngiti ng makita siya pero kaagad iyong napawi ng makita ang lalaking sa tabi niya.

Why is she with Raven?

"Ikaw."

Napaawang ang mukha ng hari. "What do you mean me, lady? And you visited me this late, you must have something to tell." kitang-kita ko ang ngisi ni Anais.

She really is fearless. Mana kay Atlantha.

"Don't mind it, your majesty. Now that you have mention, I have summoned the councils." kaagad akong kinabahan sa sinabi niya.

Is she planning something?

And wait, why is she here?! She's supposed to rest! Or stay with her mother!

"Wha-What is it?" the king is surely nervous.

"I will throw you from the throne. For killing mercilessly enslaving your people, stealing the people's money, and you are said to be involved with the late King's death, Atlantha's death... and my mom's death. I already bring some of my evidences and if it's not enough, I can give more. If you will threaten me by your power, I will pity you. Because you are nothing but a trash compared to me. I know a lot, your majesty."

Her choice of words are wise. She said 'involve' because she's not sure if the king was really the one who killed them but she is sure that he is involved.

Anais is a wise woman, revelations are too early. What is she thinking? Alam kung alam niyang kayang ibasura ng hari ang mga paratang niya.

The King has allies in another kingdom. They will easily execute her. Indeed that the king is weak compared on her but once that the other kingdom will meddle, Anais is done.

Unti-unting napuno ng halakhak ang silid dahil biglaang natawa ang hari kay Anais. "Oh my dear, I know you're emotional right now because of what just happened. But are you aware of what you're doing right now?" the king asked Anais, I greeted my teeth. I cannot interfere, Anais won't like it.

"Oh? I'm sorry to disappoint you but, I'm only thinking of cutting your small head off your body right now."

"Are you declaring a war against me? I'm sure your family won't join you." which might be true... maybe.

I almost got frozen when Anais stared at me for a few seconds, binalik din naman niya agad ang tingin sa hari.

Kaagad sumilay ang ngisi sa labi ni Anais. "Try me, your majesty. Try me."
