The raven alpha was shaking, eyes glued to the ceiling and paler than a sheet. Tears flowed freely on his cheeks as memories of the dream flashed through his head.

It all felt so real... Too real...

Kageyama had a crazy hunch that he had been let in on the secret of what befell to the Fire Tribe on that tragic night ten years ago. Wait... does that mean his lover actually escaped safely? The black-haired male shook his head to dismiss the thought, not allowing it to settle in his mind and heart... better get rid of all hope instead of being deceived later.

The screen of his phone lighted up on his nightstand and the ringing of the upcoming call reverberated in his room. The boy inhaled sharply and slowly exhaled a few times, in an attempt to even his breathing. He blinked away the new set of tears that threatened to fall from his already puffy and red eyes before answering the call with a croaked voice.

"Hello?"

The line fell silent for a minute before a familiar voice soothingly whispered in his ears.

"We'll be there in ten."

And with that, the call dropped leaving no chance for the blue-eyed alpha to utter a single protest. With a sigh, Kageyama fell back on his pillow and rolled over before adjusting his position on the bed, curling up under two heavy and thick blankets. He laid there awaiting patiently for a certain freckled teen and another blonde alpha.

Ten minutes later, he heard his window creaked open and diverted his eyes up from the carpet on the floor, meeting gaze with golden and forest green eyes. His train of thoughts halted at the ethereal sight of the two boys, whose traits beautified under the caress of the rays of moonlight. He extended his arms, craving for their touch after being depraved for so long. They both fulfilled his will and embraced him wholeheartedly in their arms. He sniffled against their chest, spreading tears and snot on their shirts, not that one of them minded. They stayed like that for a while, just enjoying the feeling of finally being reunited.

"Let's consult the ancient. It's worth a shot..."

The other two nodded in agreement and proceeded to follow the blonde's lead, stopping right in front of their destination. The taller knocked gently on the door, a soft smile gracing his lips as he greeted the old lady, who urged them to come inside.

"Come in boys, have a seat. I'll prepare some tea. I believe we have a lot to discuss."

A bit taken aback by her statement, the three shared a curious look yet complied and settled on the couch nonetheless. After a few minutes, the elderly joined, handing each one of them steaming mugs.

"So... How can I help you? "

A contented sigh escaped her lips as she sipped on her own beverage before shifting her attention back on her visitors, who have remained completely silent until now.  Finally, the greenette explained how they experienced the same strange and vivid dream before he questioned her in an inquisitive tone.

"Nana, what was that about? "

A knowing glint shined in her anthracite eyes as a playful smile adorned her features.

"At birth, your whole being is tied to one or multiple individuals who are meant to have a lasting impact on your life. Mutual feelings of affection and respect will grow beyond over the years and eventually bloom when all parties are claimed, bearing the mark of their fated pairs. You'll give a bit of yourself and receive something in return from the others, it kind of works like a lifelong contract. In close range, soulmates are able to feel their mates' emotions through the bond, but it happens to come with a fragment of memory when the feeling is traumatising. I guess that's what actually happened to you three this night."

She paused to add to the suspense and chuckled in amusement before pronouncing the next words.

"I guess Shoyo is finally back."

The raven was first to react. Overwhelmed at the turmoil of his own emotions, a sob wracked his body as he simultaneously laughed in euphoria. The other two soon entered an ecstatic state as well, delightedly clinging on the newfound thought of their dear omega safe and sound.
