A few months had passed since the three alphas discovered their mate was still alive, yet none of them managed to learn something about the latter's whereabouts. This game of hide and seek was seriously getting to their head. The pent-up frustration aside, many undesirable questions were tormenting them as confusion was bubbling in their chest day by day. It became evident that the omega didn't want to be found, but it didn't make it any less hurtful.

Was the ginger aware of them knowing about him being alive? Why has he never tried to contact any of them in those ten years? Was he safe? Did he not need them? ... The doubts were tormenting them to the point they even started questioning the ginger's loyalty to their abhorrence. The situation was simply driving them insane...

With no other option left and their patience running low, they agreed on reaching to him through their soulmates' bond. Kei discovered the trick a few weeks back in an old book, but they decided to use it as a last resort. It consisted of creating some sort of mind link, based on the already existent connection between your soulmates and yourself. If they made it work, not only should they be able to communicate for a short time with the youngest, but  their emotions and thoughts would also overflow through the bond. With a 50% chance of failure, the manoeuvre required all of their energy and focus, which probably would enjoined them but also Hinata to restrict their movements or even stay totally still. This could be dangerous on the latter's part considering they didn't know what he would be up to at the moment they would start the procedure, so they agreed on doing it at night when the ginger was supposedly sleeping in bed.

Tonight, they would hopefully reunite with their omega...

The front door of the Kageyama's residence opened, revealing a beautiful woman with porcelain skin, long straight jet black hair tied in a ponytail reaching her waist and gorgeous grey eyes that lighted up at the view of the mysterious visitors.

"Kei, Tadashi! What a good surprise to see you both here! Are you here for Tobio?"

"Yes, he invited us over for the night! I hope it's no trouble for you!"

Her cheery smile widened in delight hearing her son finally made up with his two soulmates. After Shoyo's loss, her sweet little boy had completely closed in on himself which really distraught her as a mother. Recently though, the raven teen seemed a bit more lighthearted even displaying some tiny smiles here and there. Relief washed over her when she discovered the reason behind his change of behaviour after some digging. She even bugged the young alpha to invite his two soulmates over, an advise he finally took apparently.

"Of course not! You're always welcome here! Come in, come in!"

She waved them inside. The familiar cottage-like atmosphere and the salty aroma floating in the air reminded them of the seaside. It really corresponded the family of water users well and immediately put the two at ease. In fact, it was kind of comforting seeing how the Kageyama's household didn't changed one bit, even after ten years.

Quick footsteps flying down the set of stairs resonated through the living room, before a whine could be heard from a certain black-haired teenager.

"Mom! Don't overwhelm them!"

They all chuckled at the raven's protest, a blush dusting the alphas' cheeks at the cute display of their mate. The reaction didn't go unnoticed by the latter who frowned and turned back on his heels, soon followed by the other two. Before reaching the top, he shouted to his mother.

"We'll be in my room, don't bother us unless it's extremely urgent please!"

The woman burst out laughing, undoubtedly misinterpreting the request as if they were about to do something dirty, which made him huffed in annoyance.

"Roger!"

The church's bells echoed loudly through the depth of the village, each rang reverberating loudly against the walls of the small room, indicating it was 00.00 a.m. This was it. They were about to proceed with this witchcraft, that would bring them a step closer to their long lost mate.

The three boys drew a circle of sand, rigorously following the instructions of the book and careful not to miss a step. They settled on the floor in a circle and held each other's hands. Beyond the need of skin-contact to reinforce the connection and increase their rate of success, the gesture brought them some reassurance making the situation a tad bit less unnerving. Yamaguchi stifled a laugh at the hilarity of the whole picture.

"That's so cliche. It looks like we're about to summon a demon."

Tobio and Kei looked at him dumbfounded for a second, before a sneer escaped their lips as they come up with the realisation of what their current predicament looked like. It was true... Now recovering from the good laugh they shared, they toned it down and recovered their seriousness. They simultaneously closed their eyes and summoned their alphas, whose presence manifested by the subtle change of colour in their eyes. Their scents mixed as pheromones filled the space, the action caused by the repetitive and delicate rubbing of the glands of their wrists. At last, their palms warmed up by the seconds as energy poured from one to another. With dopey smiles and heavy eyelids, they all let the dark void consumed them.

"Huh? What's that?"

"SHO!"

After a decade of longing for their omega, they could reunite with him at last. Three strong pairs of arms enclosed the ginger's waist, a surprised gasp leaving the parted lips of the latter.

What. the. fuck. was. happening?
