After that talk I had with Shay, I decided to make reals moves so I could secure myself a good future. I enrolled myself in a GED program.

It would take me about 3 months to complete my coursework, so I should be certified by the end of August.

I was happy that I was getting back on track but with Chief still being "Missing", I was still needed at the trap from time to time.

It was near the time for a re-up with the Italians and I was about to let Jah and Robbie know how this operation was going to continue if Chief isn't to be found.

I was on my way to the trap now and my nerves were fucking with me. There was a possibility of the trap being raided at any second with Tig still locked up and the fear of someone finding out about Chief was weighing on me.

When I walk into the trap, there isn't too many people here. Except Robbie, Jah and a few others.

"Wassup", I said as I dapped everybody up.

I start to walk to the office room, and Jah and Robbie follow me. I sit on the desk and Jah closes the door behind him.

"So there's still no word from Chief, nigga isn't answering his phone and he hasn't been seen anywhere...The drop has to be done tomorrow, so we have to speak on how this is going to work from here on out.", I grabbed the duffel bag that was on the floor and handed it to Robbie.

"You're going to do the drops. I'll send you the location and everything you need to know. Jah, you are going to watch over the trap. Guide everybody, make sure there aren't any fuckups...I've decided to step back from this shit.", Jah and Robbie had this confused look on their face.

"Fuck you mean?", Jah asks.

I sighed, "Mane, I had hopes and dreams before I started doing this shit. Now that Chief is MIA, I'm going to try and secure something real for myself. There's too much heat round here, ion have time for it. Listen... I would advise y'all to move the trap. Sooner or later the feds gone raid this motherfucker." I stated.

Jah looked skeptical but Robbie was just looking as if he didn't care as long as he was still making his money.

"Where do we move it?", Robbie asked.

I shrugged, "I would say buy a trailer and a small peice of property. Don't put in your name though, use yo mama or yo grandma or sum."

"Mane this shit crazy, we went from a stable business to a fucking mess real quick. But Ite y'all just stay safe, I got to go see my girl.", Robbie said as he was leaving the room.

His words lingered on me though, he was talking as if he didn't know how this street shit work. He been in this shit way longer than me so that didn't make since. Everybody knows everything is temporary in the streets. Business can be booming for years, then a mf gets snatched up on some charges and start ratting.

Now the business is a Rico case.

I hope Robbie didn't get caught up in a fairytale, his ass will be doomed if so. This shit ain't sweet.

When Robbie left the room, Jah laughed lightly as he sat down in a chair.

"What's funny?", I asked

"You. You funny asf.", he said.

I laughed awkwardly, "what you talm bout?"
