That's when it happened
Izuku Midoriya was only 4 when he saw it the first time
Izuku looked at is mother to notice something behind her
It was a shadow
It had green highlights all around it
It startled Izuku due to the large green smile
"Ma
ser
Mos
Ter
Master"
It glitched out but Izuku was to afraid to even try and understand it
He fell to the floor afraid

That was only the first time what about the others?
Kachan had a shadow too
It was black and had orange and red and yellow sparks almost tattooed around it
It muttered something too
"Izu
Izuk
Izuku
Master"
After many startled meetings he learned learned that he was the only one who could see them so he ignored the shadows so he didn't seem crazy but in the end everyone thought he was insane

When Izuku did go to the doctors with his mother to see if he got a quirk but what startled him was the doctor explained he was "Quirkless" but that didn't make sense..
What were these shadows he was seeing?
What did they want?
Why could only Izuku see them?
Even the doctor had a shadow who seemed to smile as Izuku when he first saw him

Izuku didn't know what to think
And all his mother said was she was "sorry"
I don't think Izuku believed it
Years later at the age of eight Izuku woke up to a note in the fridge that changed everything
Dear Izuku,
Sorry baby but you are just too much work and you cause to many issues always spacing off and randomly screaming at nothing
It's concerning and i chat do it anymore
I'm leaving to America sorry baby

Izuku felt nothing he simply grabbed a bag and put what he'd need in it and left the house
He left forever
And this was only the beginning

Izuku survived 5 years on the street
He's notice his quirk is that the shadows of people are their quirks and they always try to talk to him but he ignored them
He's spent years on end feeling with "surviving" and the bullies didn't help but then Katsaki Bakugou had to go and say something stupid
"Why don't you go and take a swan dive of the roof and pray for another quirk in your next life" I believe his exact words were
Those words made Izuku snap and so he decided he would follow his advise
And now that's why Izuku Midoriya is now sat on the rooftop of one of highest buildings in his town
and that's where we begin the true beginning of this story
