"Here, look at this." Ro said, moving the book so it was half in her lap and half in Luke's. Luke looked down at the book, reading out loud. "'The Mauve bloodline can do many things. Including Psychic Energy Manipulation, Mental Manipulation, Telepathy, Levitation, Chaos Magic, Spell Casting, Rune Casting, Astral Projection, Dreamwalking, Healing and much more.' That's a lot." he said, looking from the book to the girl next to him.

Rosa nodded. "Yeah, it explains why I astral projected when I tried to move the plant." She replied. "There's also this spell." She said, turning the page. "It's a truth spell. All I'd have to do is replace the name with my mom's and she wouldn't be able to lie when I ask her about our witch bloodline." She said. Luke nodded.

"If you go back..." Luke flipped to the page he just read. "It says that the mauve bloodline doesn't need incantation in order to cast a spell. Meaning you could be with your mom, cast the spell, and she wouldn't even know." He added. Ro nodded, shutting the book and setting it on the coffee table. "What are you doing? Don't you wanna go talk to your mom now?" Luke asked. Rosa shook her head.

"This," She motioned to the book. "can wait. Because right now, we've gotta form a plan to play the Orpheum in three days." She said. "Oh, come on, Posey. We still have an hour until Julie's back from school!" Luke exclaimed, turning his body to face the raven haired girl. "I know." She replied, turning to face him. "Which means we have an hour to do whatever we want...just the two of us." She added.

"So, Luke...what is it you want to do?" She asked, smiling softly at the shaggy-haired ghost. Luke thought about it for a moment. All he really wanted to do was pull her close, and never let go. All he wanted to do was be able to touch her. All he wanted to do in that moment, and many others before, was kiss her. But he knew he couldn't.

He knew that even if he was able to touch and kiss her...he wouldn't. Because he knew how much harder his leaving would be on her. So, instead, he poofed over up to the loft, grabbed his song book, and poofed back next to Posey. He flipped through the book, stopping at one of the many songs he's written about the raven girl herself. "There's a song I wrote and...and I wanna sing for you." He sheepishly said, rubbing the back of his neck.
