"You got this. And if you get nervous...just look at me." Rosa said, throwing her arm around Julie's shoulders as they walked to Ro's car.
"Here." Ro said, handing Julie the aux cord. "What? You're letting me pick the music?" Julie gasped. "Don't make me regret it." Ro said, rolling her eyes. "Isn't your saying 'driver picks the music and shot gun shut his cake hole'?" Julie asked. "Actually that's Dean Winchester's saying." Ro replied. "Who?" Julie asked. "Right...you decided not to watch Supernatural with me and Flynn." She sighed, pulling out of the driveway.
Once they got to the school, they linked arms, making their way to the music room. As they got closer they heard someone playing the trumpet...horribly. "Oh god. Who is that?" Ro asked. "No clue, but they should take more lessons." Julie laughed, Ro nodding in agreement. They walked into the room and shared a look before laughing. "It was Flynn!" Rosa whispered, quieting her laughs.
"What are you doing, and where is everyone?" Julie asked. Flynn sighed in sadness. "Spirit assembly." She said. "Let me guess, you were blowing it off because you weren't feeling very 'spirit-y'?" Rosa asked, raising a brow. Flynn nodded. "Dang it." Julie mutters. "You okay?" Flynn asked, resting her feet on the floor.
"Not really. Lina and I had this new plan for me to play for Mrs. Harrison, hoping that she'd let me back in, but...I guess I missed my chance." Julie shrugged. Rosa gasped, looking at the girl with a bright smile. "No. No, you didn't." She said, shaking her head. "She's right. Let's go!" Flynn exclaimed, walking over and wrapping her arms around the girls, leading them to the gym.
