Addison, Scott, and Stiles sat on the floor of Scott's room listening to the tape from Garrett's bag. They all sat criss-cross in a circle around the tape player as they listened to it, they were hoping that no one would walk in as they wouldn't be able to explain it to anyone.
"After, entering the IP address, you will be connected through a Darknet portal to an untraceable bank. Once logged in, enter your account number to receive wire transfers. The IP address will deactivate with each transfer. You will be assigned a new IP address if you choose to continue down the list. Remember, visual confirmation is always required for payment," The voice spoke in an automated sound
"You ever made a wire transfer?" Stiles asked his brother and sister
"Never had enough money," Scott responded making Addison nod in agreement
"So you didn't understand a word of that either?" Stiles questioned making Addison chuckle
"I don't understand any of this, why would someone use all this money just to kill us?" Addison questioned picking at her fingers
"Someone wants you two dead, dude. Badly, whoa, whoa, what are you doing?" Stiles asked as Scott started to put the money back in the bag
"It's late, we've got the PSATs in the morning," Scott responded to the boy
"And I've got to make up that Biology test," Addison reminded her brothers
"No, I meant the money. $500,000, do you know how much money that is?" Stiles remarked in a tone
"It's 500,000..." Scott spoke making Stiles roll his eyes
"It's half a million dollars. Scott, what are you going to do, just slide it under your mattress?" Stiles questioned stopping the alpha
"We have to talk to Derek, the money's his," Addison stated before Stiles stopped her
"You mean his and Peter's," Stiles corrected her making her scoff
"What does that mean?" Scott questioned with his head tilted
"It means maybe we should proceed with caution," Stiles spoke looking at the money
"You don't think we should tell Derek?" Addison asked her brother
"No, of course, we have to tell him. I'm just saying, some of that money's Peter's, right?" Stiles started to explain to them as he got up
"Yeah," Scott responded not thinking of it
"Right? Peter, a Homicidal killer? Remember? You want to give $500,000 to him," Stiles asked as he was trying to clear it up
"So we should give Derek his money back but not Peter?" Addison questioned in a respective voice
"I didn't say that," Stiles defended himself to the teens in front of him
