Addison stood next to Scott as Scott had his arms across looking at his beta, Addiosn had walked over to Nick's body and closed his eyes so that he would have some sense of peace. She kissed his head one last time before going back to Scott.
"What do you mean, "No"?" Liam asked in an angry tone to the alpha
"Liam, look at her she's too weak, It will kill her. We don't even know what the mercury's doing to her. We don't even know if it is mercury. This can't be the only way to save her life." Scott stated pointing out the obvious
"It saved mine." Liam reminded making Addison scoff
"You know, that was different. You were hanging off a ledge." Addison spoke up looking at the beta
"You promised, you said you'd do everything you could," Liam begged his alpha
"Which is why I'm not going to do something I think is going to kill her. There's another way to save her." Scott stated making Theo walk up to them
"Guys, I don't know what the statistics are for surviving a werewolf bite, but she's not surviving this. We need to do something," Theo stated before Scott called his mom
"Okay," Melissa spoke as she walked in and started setting up
"What's that?" Addison asked looking at the woman
"It's called chelation therapy. It removes heavy metals from the blood, but, the problem is, is that can injure the kidneys and Hayden only has one, to begin with, so..." Melissa trailed off
"Hey, you're hurting her." Liam grabbed her arm leaving a bruise
"And you're hurting me," Melissa stated before Liam let go
"Sorry," Liam whispered looking at his girlfriend
"Hey, guys remember, we're here to save a life and not kill each other." Theo reminded as Scott and Addison sat down
"It's the full moon, we can feel it even during the day," Scott spoke in a soft tone
"And it's a Supermoon." Addison corrected looking at the window
"What is that supposed to make you guys, like super strong? Super aggressive?" Theo asked the two teens beside him
"Both," Addison answered looking at the boy
"You know we're going to need help with him," Theo spoke to them making them nod
"He'll be all right, he's 16," Scott spoke before Addison cut
"And in love, his first love since he didn't love me," Addison mumbled the last part but Scott heard in making him hold her hand
"You remember what that's like?" Theo asked the alpha who nodded
