Gerard was listening to Monroe make her speech to hype up the hunters, once she was done he walked up to her. They had planned on cornering the pack but he knew that as long as Addison was still available that they'd never stand a chance of getting the lead.
"Just because you make them ready for war doesn't mean they'll be ready to take on a harvest witch," Gerard commented as he walked over to her
"Exactly, she's a witch therefore she'll be easier to take out," Monroe stated before he grabbed her arm
"To you, she's just a witch but in reality, she was one to take down a pack of alphas, she took down void with just a flick of her wrist and she didn't know what she was or that she had powers. She has more power than you cannot even possibly imagine," Gerard told her making her scoff
"I thought we were going after Scott, not Addison," Monroe stated making Gerard scoff
"Do you have any concept of what the bond between an Alpha and his Witch is like? I would say it's as strong, if not stronger than the bond between parent and child. Imagine what would happen to the parent if I snapped his child's neck and dropped it at his feet," Gerard stated before she stopped him
"Okay, I get it but what about the rest of his pack?" Monroe questioned wanting to know all the details
"When Scott falls it'll break all of them," Gerard stated as she smirked
They went to Deucalion for help with fighting blind since he had years of experience, they knew that the best chance they had to win this war was Deucalion. When you're at a war you find yourselves teaming up with people you never thought you would, You find yourselves questioning the bigger picture and looking at the fine print a little longer than usual.
"Any of you know the term for what I'm doing?" Deucalion asked as they were standing there
"Echolocation," Addison responded as she crossed her arms
"You did your homework," Deucalion commented before Scott nodded
"Yeah, we looked a few things up," Scott added making Deucalion sighed
"And now you think you can learn in just one day what took me years to master?" Deucalion questioned before Malia spoke up
"We were hoping for maybe a few highlights," Malia spoke looking at the man
"Yeah, or anything that can help us fight the Anuk-ite without looking at it," Scott added before Deucalion scoffed
"Fighting blind is one thing. You haven't even learned to walk yet. An Orientation and Mobility specialist has to practice blindfolded with a white cane for at least hundred and twenty hours before becoming certified. I can't teach you to walk and fight in less than twenty-four," Deucalion stated before Scott nodded
"Look, we know the odds are bad, but Gerard's got an army" Scott stated looking at him
"There's a creature that can scare ordinary people into becoming killers," Addison added before he sighed
