Taehyung lays on his stomach on Jungkook's comfortable bed, swinging his legs in the air as he stares at the grey cat. Itzy is cuddled up on the bed beside Taehyung, resting against his side, occasionally staring up at him whenever he harshly moves or exclaims something.
"What do you think he's doing right now?" Taehyung asks, staring down at the cat with curious eyes. "Do you think he's thinking about me?"
Taehyung expects an answer, but the grey cat cuddles further against his side and purrs, stretching her front legs. He rolls his eyes and rests his head on his arms, softly stroking up and down her furry stomach.
"What do you know?" Taehyung groans, sighing to himself. "You're a fucking cat."
Closing his eyes, Taehyung threads his fingers through his messy hair and sighs once again, trying to push down the dreadful feeling of love. He rolls onto his back and stares up at the bland ceiling with lazy eyes, drawing imaginary shapes in the air to calm himself down.
While he's acting like this, he feels something press down on his stomach and his eyes dart to observe the weight. The grey cat has jumped onto Taehyung's stomach and sat down, staring at him with pretty eyes.
Taehyung softly chuckles and runs a gentle hand down her back, scratching behind her ears. He finds a small smile toying at his lips, completely forgetting the feeling of missing Jungkook.
"You're kinda cute, you know?" Taehyung says, earning a purr from the small cat. "Don't think this makes us friends or anything. You're still the biggest cockblocker to ever exist."
Suddenly, to his surprise, Itzy cuddles up against his neck and Taehyung finds his heart swell at how adorable she is. He begins stroking down her back again, lulling her into a peaceful sleep.
The grey cat quietly meows and Taehyung feels the pain behind the noise. He holds the cat closer to his chest and sighs, realising how much his mind is truly messing with him.
"I know," Taehyung frowns, staring up at the ceiling once again. "I miss him, too."
