"Morning, sleepyhead."

Jungkook's cheeks flush a bright pink as he cuddles up beside Taehyung, feeling his protective arm hook around his slim waist. The warm sunlight kisses his tanned skin as it beams in through the open window, and Jungkook's sleepy eyes slowly begin to flutter open and adjust to the new day.

"You're never awake before me, Tae." Jungkook chuckles, pressing a necklace of soft kisses along Taehyung's muscular arm.

"Wanted to watch the sun rise," Taehyung whispers, holding the brunette close to his chest. "And you look absolutely adorable while you're asleep. I didn't wanna miss that."

A comfortable silence hangs in the air and Jungkook slightly cranes his head to the left, staring at the golden sun as it rises in the sky. It really does look beautiful and he can't help but notice the evident smile on Taehyung's face.

"You feeling better today?" Jungkook quietly asks, feeling his eyes slip close once again.

It takes Taehyung a few seconds to reply because he's so engrossed in the golden colour of the sun. He's never seen the sun rise before because he always sleeps in, but he's found a new aspect to life after meeting Jungkook.

"A little." Taehyung responds, trapping his bottom lip between his teeth to block out the memories from yesterday. It was all too much for him to handle and he doesn't want another panic to wash through his body.

Jungkook smiles to himself and decides to keep his mouth shut, enjoying the calmness of the Wednesday morning. Instead, he stares at Taehyung's muscular arm and trails his gentle fingertips over the various small drawings on the boy's tanned skin, tracing the faint lines of the messy cartoons.

Taehyung's eyes shift down to stare at the sleepy brunette, watching in content as his fingers drag over his silly drawings. He isn't the best at drawing, but it calms him to scribble pictures all over his arm and focuses his mind on something other than his overwhelming panic attack.

"These are cute, Tae" Jungkook comments, tracing his fingers over a small scribble of a flower.

"It calms me down," Taehyung says, and stretches his fingers a little, revealing two hidden drawings on the side of his finger. "Don't you think these would be cool tattoos?"

Jungkook feels overwhelmed as he drags his fingertip over the two drawings on Taehyung's finger. The letters JK are written in bold on the side of Taehyung's pointer finger, which is accompanied with a small, messy heart just underneath the two letters.

The brunette lays there in awe, barely able to form coherent words as he stares at the initials of his name on Taehyung's finger with a small heart beneath it. He knew he was making progress with Taehyung, but he's never been so happy to see how serious the boy is about them.

"These would be cool tattoos," Taehyung says after the silent moments drag on, and Jungkook realises that he hasn't said anything. "Give me your finger for a minute."

Jungkook chuckles and holds out his pointer finger, and Taehyung reaches over to snatch the black pen from the nightstand. He pops off the cap and gently secures his hand around the brunette's smaller one, closing one eye to focus himself on getting this drawing right.

His tongue pokes out between his plump lips as he begins drawing something on Jungkook's pointer finger, and Jungkook has a few guesses what it could be. Jungkook softly giggles because the feeling of the ink tickling his skin makes him feel ticklish, making Taehyung glance up and smile at him.
