"I'm nervous to see him."

Idly standing in the middle of the crowded airport, Taehyung and Jimin have barely spoken a word to each other since they arrived. Jimin's only response is a muffled grunt or halfhearted smile, mostly because he still hasn't forgiven the boy for what he did almost a year ago.

Despite their small talk, Taehyung is freaking out. It's the first time Jungkook is coming back to South Korea for his summer break. The pair have done some talking over the past year, but Jungkook is always too busy with schoolwork or hanging out with his new friends late at night, partying and drinking and God knows what else.

Regardless, Taehyung promised that he would wait for Jungkook to come back after his university course is completed and then they can be together – together without any distractions and live out Taehyung's happy, little fantasy in his head.

"Do you think he'll recognise us?" Taehyung asks, rather dumb in his words, but Jimin remembers that the boy is dumb.

Concealing a small smile, Jimin clears his throat and musters up something to say to Taehyung. He hasn't liked the boy very much since he made the bet, but he really wanted to see Jungkook arrive in South Korea and it would be rude of him to reject Taehyung's offer.

"It's been a year," Jimin lightly snaps, crossing his arms over his chest in impatience. "Not like it's been ten years since he saw us."

"You never know." Taehyung simply shrugs his shoulders.

With that, the pair fall into an uncomfortable silence, impatiently rocking on their heels as they wait for the doors to Jungkook's flight to open. The aeroplane landed not too long ago, so they shouldn't have to suffocate in the awkward atmosphere for much longer.

While they're waiting, Taehyung's mind spins. He has no idea what to say to Jungkook when he arrives. Would a kiss be inappropriate or would a hug be too friendly?

God, he doesn't even know, but he's going to figure it out.

The complicated pair made an agreement shortly after Jungkook landed in America to not see other people and remain in a 'long-distance-ish' relationship until Jungkook came back. Although it was hard for Taehyung at first because he was instructed not to have sex or get his dick sucked, he's come to terms with it and a break from being sexually aroused all the time has been good for him.

It's allowed him to concentrate on his photography course and put most of his energy into it. Sure, being apart from Jungkook is hard due to the different time zones and the episodes of missing him hurt – but Taehyung always reminds himself that Jungkook will be back soon.

During his train of thought, Taehyung feels a harsh elbow nudge him in the side, pulling him away from his spinning mind. He glares down at Jimin because he's getting annoyed of the older boy's constant dislike towards him.

"He's here." Jimin states, gesturing to the doors as they open.

Floods of people come pouring out of the double doors, excited to see their family members after a long trip. Some cry and some laugh, but neither Jimin or Taehyung care because they're too busy searching for Jungkook.

Taehyung starts to wonder if Jungkook has already walked past them because he can't remember what they look like.

Clearing his head of those thoughts, Taehyung continues desperately searching the crowd of people for Jungkook. It takes some time, but as the last few people filter out of the doors, Jungkook finally appears and he looks just as pretty as Taehyung remembers.
