"your going to spencers?" Heather cringes over her bowl of cereal

"not the store genius, Spencer L is having a pool party" I roll my eyes while putting my bowl on the bench

"none of your friends are going though?" Heather lowers her brows as i just shrug

"i'll make new ones"

I wanna go home. Spencer's mom has yelled at me 3 times for being wet and trying to go inside, like sorry i'm trying to not pee in your pool i'll do better next time

I've given up and am now laying on the side of the pool, with my hand dipped in while sunbathing

"cannonball!" I hear a voice yell before i'm drenched in water

"Bran-" I go to yell at him but another voice cuts me off

"cannonball!" I hear maya yell before half belly flopping into the pool

I roll my eyes at her before getting up and walking to the snack table with a towel wrapped around my waist

"Hey anna" I greet, noticing her presence while grabbing a bag of cheetos off the table

"h-hey Avery" she smiles widely as I just awkwardly nod

"I like love your swimsuit" She says, "i've had it for ages, used to go to the beach a lot in Aus" I shrug while going back to the grass patch I put all my stuff on when i first got here while Anna goes to the pool where Maya and Brandt have been talking

I watch as Brandt shakes his head while getting up and Maya yells at him about not remembering something

He walks past me and glares harshly before attempting to walk inside, keyword; attempting

Spencer's mom shooes him out claiming he can come in once he's dry

He rolls his eyes at her before walking to where he put his stuff, on the grass patch a couple feet away from me

"Hows Dustin and Alex?" He asks, not looking at me

"Dunno, thought you would know considering their your bffs" I shrug, smiling at the end

"thought you'd know cause you hook up with them every other weekend" Brandt shrug as I roll my eyes

"Yeah for sure, cause Connie didn't give you a handjob the same day you and the ugis duo had a three way" I smile tightly as he looks at me mad

"don't dish it if you can't take it mate" I shake my head before getting up and sitting next to Sam whose playing cards with Gabe

I rest my head on Sams shoulder while talking him through his next few moves

He's got a really lucky hand

I notice Brandt in the corner of my eye, storming inside while looking at me. Not looking me in the face but more looking at my head on Sams shoulder

is he serious? Sams obsessed with Maya, no way me resting my head on his shoulder changes anything

im looking at the hallway where his figure disappeared, when Maya suddenly pops up at our table

"Okay guys, im gonna say a few words and i want you to say what comes to mind" she nods, not giving us a chance to respond "Laya and Manna got to becond sace at the lance with Trandt" Maya grins thinking she's so clever

"what comes to mind?" Anna asks from beside Maya, "just fuck off. You guys already yelled at me, why should I help you?" Sam rolls his eyes while shuffling the deck of cards

"omg your literally so obsessed with Maya you won't even help her get the literal guy of her dreams" Anna scoffs before walking off

Maya looks at him dirty before following Anna

"what are they on" I whisper with a grin to Sam, who just shakes his head and laughs

After two more rounds of card games, we're interrupted by Brendan running to me

"Avery, Brandt says you should go to Issacs bedroom at 1:30" he nods before leaving

I look to sam with a confused look. He just points his watch at me, it's 1:26

"should I just go now?" I ask while standing up, "Pass the deck" Gabe says as I drop it onto the table before leaving

I walk up to the door though stop momentarily upon hearing a couple voices in the room, the TV's going in the background as i hear Anna and Maya singing?

I open the door slightly to see Brandt sitting there eating cheetos silently while the two sing some made up song with eachother

Brandt looks at me then immediately begins talking to Maya, "come sit next me me" he starts and hides a cringe, "cutie"

I watch with furrowed brows as Anna pushes Maya to sit next to him and he looks at me waiting for a reaction, I just purse my lips awkwardly before Spencer's mom comes barging down the hallway

My eyes widen and I walk away when I hear her yelling at Anna and Maya about having wet bathing suits

I head back out to see Sam in the pool and Gabe packing up his stuff since his moms coming

this 'party' was kinda shit.

I grab my stuff before starting to walk home as it's only about a block away

Schools tomorrow, that'll be.. fun
