Nkem sat across from Marco at the little café where they had shared many meals during her college years. She sipped on her coffee as Marco talked about the latest business deals his family had made. She loved hearing him talk about his work, but her mind was wandering elsewhere. She couldn't help but feel anxious about her future, now that she was a college graduate.
Just then, Marco interrupted her thoughts, "Nkem, I have something for you." He pulled out a set of car keys from his pocket and placed them on the table.
Nkem looked at him, confused. "What is it?"
"Go outside and see for yourself," Marco said with a smile.
Nkem quickly finished her coffee and headed outside. As soon as she stepped onto the sidewalk, she saw it. A brand new Mercedes Benz parked in front of her.
"Oh my god," she exclaimed, running towards the car.
"It's all yours," Marco said, following behind her.
Nkem couldn't believe it. She had always dreamed of owning a Mercedes, but she never thought it would happen so soon. She turned to Marco and threw her arms around him, planting a kiss on his lips.
"Thank you so much," she said, still in disbelief.
"You deserve it, Nkem. You worked so hard to get where you are today," Marco replied, wrapping his arms around her.
Nkem couldn't stop smiling as she opened the car door and slid into the driver's seat. She admired the sleek interior and the new car smell. It was everything she had ever wanted.
Marco watched as Nkem started the car and drove around the block. He couldn't help but feel proud of her. She had accomplished so much in her college years, and he knew she was going to do great things in the future.
As she pulled back into the café parking lot, Marco was waiting for her with a bouquet of flowers. He handed them to her and said, "Congratulations, Nkem. I'm so proud of you."
Nkem hugged him tightly and whispered, "Thank you, Marco. I couldn't have done it without you."
They spent the rest of the day celebrating Nkem's achievements and her new car. It was a moment she would never forget.
