AUTHOR 'S POV
Rough lips, sucking her soft ones as if he was waiting for this fucking moment and keerthana saw nothing except the deep desire in him.
She felt her back leaning towards the front that was on him and felt out of breath and...
"ARGHHHH!" Keerthana yelled in frustration and woke up from the dream.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Aishwarya asked staring at her weirdly.
"Ahh don't ask she has been the same for a week now!" Aditi said and pushed a cucumber into her mouth and continued chopping it.
"And why in the hell is that? Is it ASHOK? I'll kill him " Aishwarya yelled
Keerthana 's breath was struck by the mention of her ex's name! Why did this kiss happen? Cause her ex decided to show up at the wrong time.
"Don't ask Aishu! let go- just having a bad dream" Keerthana lied
Aditi, Riya and Aishwarya knew about Ashok and what happened at the pub but not the kiss of course.
She did not know how to tell them that she and her brother's best friend kissed so hard that now she missed his lips against his wood and spice smell.
A part of her being guilty as fuck and another part being shameful to the same measure and wanting more of Arjun.
Feeling someone smack her head, keerthana looked up rubbing her forehead.
"Aye get out of bed " Aishwarya said folding the bedsheets.
Keerthana grabbed a towel from Aditi's hand dodged her kick and watched her wardrobe
Opening her wardrobe the first thing that fell on her eyes were the jackets that hang proudly on the hangers.
It was the same jacket that Arjun had given her on a rainy day.
Keerthana felt that her entire wardrobe was adapted to his smell of wood by his single jacket which hung on her wardrobe
Letting out a sigh! Keerthana knew trouble was her friend but she was quick enough to understand it's gone her favourite too.

"GUYS" Riya yelled and the girls immediately walked to the round dining table and sat looking at her
And Riya simply placed her phone in the middle and watched her friend's expression change
"Sameer?"
"Insta request?"
"For you? I thought you guys were already friends"
The first thing Riya did after meeting Sameer was to message him about the situation in the group.
Riya still felt her heartbeat go crazy not in love or happiness.
She was proud of herself, she thought she had moved on, she thought it wouldn't hurt anymore but then looked at him and his same cold eyes staring at her.
Riya knew she was still the same high school girl who was pitied in front of him.
And the thought made her heart go crazy
"Accept it, " Aishwarya told
"Why? " Keerthana asked
"Let her Kiki! Let him watch - what he missed " Aditi told
" Alright! Let him stay in the request corner for a day then accept!", Keerthana said and Riya nodded
Riya knew nothing was Sameer's fault! She was not even sure he knew about her feelings but at the same time, she also knew that her friends were the Aditi, Keerthana and Aishwarya who praised the ground she walked.

"Also Aisha did your lovely aunt call you my dear?" Riya asked and Aishwarya nodded as no
Yet again Aishwarya had told them everything except Vikram and the panipuri she ate.
Aishwarya was used to her aunt's ways but the girls were not. It took them days to make up lies pull her away from her aunt and make her stay in the flat.
Pulling out her phone Aishwarya watched her recent chat.
It was to Vikram, she was the one who sent the message saying thanks for the treat and Vikram immediately responded by sending a smile.
She liked how he came out of nowhere and helped her feel better, a part of her wanted to treat him back with the same and Aishwarya knew what exactly to do.

"Aravind asked me out!" Aditi said after a few minutes of silence
"Finally" keerthana said letting out a breath as if this had been in her for days
"Really?" Riya asked
"I don't trust him! He must be playing around" Aishwarya said and earned a glare from keerthana
"What did you say?" Riya asked
"I told no!" Aditi said
"What? Why?" It was keerthana now who asked
"What why? Your brother thinks he can get whatever he wants and I am not a 'thing' and also I agree with Aishu he is playing around for sure" Aditi said
The place went to silence only the sound of Aishwarya eating her breakfast was heard.
Soon the calling bell rang and Aditi rushed out to check and yelled in happiness
"NITINNNNN!" She yelled in excitement and soon within a minute the girls rushed there and engulfed the tall muscle guy in a tight guy.
"Where were you dumbo," Aishwarya asked hitting his head
"What happened to your hair?" Aditi asked pulling his hairs
"Ahhh it's painful girl step aside! It does not matter where I was and what I was doing now all that matters is I and here in front of you all!" Said Nitin smiling proudly
Nitin was Aditi's family friend and also very close to the girls He played the protective male-best-friend role in their life.
Since he was 4 years older than them, the girls used this and convinced their parents to night outs and movies.
A year back Nitin had a family emergency and had to go back to Cochin and now was back to the girls.
