"Oh? You're here too, Iguro!"
Sanemi groaned when he heard the one and only Uzui Tengen's voice. The man walked into Sanemi's room, letting out a laugh.
"What happened to you, Shinazugawa? You look flamboyantly dead!"
"Fuck off, Uzui."
Uzui sat down beside Obanai, crossing his legs. He leaned his cheek on his palm, a small grin on his face.
"Today is your birthday so lighten up a bit! You look like you've been dumped by a girl!"
Obanai slapped his forehead and Sanemi clicked his tongue. Sanemi swore he would've cut Uzui into pieces if he hadn't feel so ashamed because of Uzui's words.
"... What? Did I hit a jackpot?" Uzui blinked in confusion.
"YOU GOT DUMPED?! AHAHAHA!"
A pillow flew into Uzui's face. Sanemi grumbled loudly, sitting up on his futon.
"If you're here to bother me then just go away before I fucking kill you!" Sanemi yelled.
"Sorry, sorry, it's just... How flamboyantly unusual for you to concern yourself with a girl."
Sanemi ruffled his already messy hair. He, himself, was also confused as to why he got too involved with a certain girl.
"You knew?" Uzui asked to Obanai and he nodded.
"So... Who's the unlucky woman?"

Even though he said not to concern himself with other people's business, Sanemi is still curious about the light blue nichirin blade and why someone as strong as her wanted to leave the corps. Not to mention the complicated family problem going on in her life.
Just when he was thinking about it, his crow relayed him a message from Oyakata-sama, telling him to meet the man immediately.
So here he was, kneeling in the presence of Ubuyashiki Kagaya. The head of the demon hunter corps was smiling gently at him. Purple marks covered his forehead, a sign of a curse bestowed upon his family.
"I heard that you met Shiori on your mission, Sanemi." Kagaya said.
"I did, Oyakata-sama."
"You must've had many questions regarding her, am I right?"
"... Yes, Oyakata-sama."
Kagaya kept his smile as he looked at the sky, reminiscing about the past. He recalled the very day that his most trusted subordinate came to him and asked to be relieved of her responsibilities as a demon hunter starting next year.
"I apologize that I am in no place to share her private matters with you, Sanemi."
"No, please don't apologize, Oyakata-sama." Sanemi quickly replied, his eyebrows furrowing.
"I don't pry into other people's problems.. But there's just one thing I want to make sure of."
"And that is?" Kagaya asked, ushering Sanemi to continue.
"Did she... bear a child when she was only eleven?"
"... Pardon?"
Sanemi raised his head and was met by Kagaya's confused face. Sanemi himself was confused with his reaction, since the man in front of him knows everything about all of his children in the corps.
"I met a little girl named Sayu yesterday. She claimed to be Shiori's daughter and she's six years old." Sanemi explained.
"Oh, little Sayu." Kagaya's usual smile returned. He let out a small chuckle, reminiscing the day he first met the little girl. Kagaya held out his hand, allowing a kasugaigarasu to land on it. "She's an energetic child, isn't she?"
