Me and colby hoped into bed and i was about to fall asleep when i heard soft crys from colby making me turn around to face him and tap him on the shoulder
"mm" he said
"are you sure you ok" I asked hoping he will tell me what happened
"yep" he lied
"stop telling me your fine colbs what happened," i asked
" my dad beat me up before school" he whispered chocking on his tears a bit
he turned over to face me and he had tears rolling down his face so I softly pulled him in for a hug trying not to hurt him even more
"I'm sorry" I said
"its not your fault he was drunk" he said
what the actual fuck why was he drunk before school and why would he fucken hurt his son before he had to go to fucken school? how long has he been doing this to him? why didn't he tell me we are best friends
I looked down at colby and saw him asleep in my arms so I slitly tightened my grip on him and feel asleep after five minets of making sure he was fully asleep
The next day I woke up to colby getting out of the bed and going to the tolite so i saat up and looked at my phone to see it was already 10pm so I got out of the bed and walked over to jake and cory and saw them snuggling do i took a picture of them and then shook them awake
"mhhh" cory ground wiping his face and jake did the same
they sat up and i sat next to them and waited for colby to get out og the bathroom
after two minutes he walked out of the bathroom and grabbed a shirt from his closet
"I will be right back my dad wants me" he said
"ill come" i said
"no you stay i will be back with some monsters and food" he said
he smiled at me and left the room I looked at the boys and they were looking at me with a worried look
"what?" i asked
"you know something" cory said
"no i don't what are you talking about" i said
"your lying" jake said
"no im not"i said
I turned the tv on and played some music full bast so that i didn't have to hear what was going on down stairs and then colby walked in with some monsters and three plates of bacon and eggs and placed them in front of us
I looked at colby and noticed he had blood on his nose and his eye was black so I whispered in his ear telling him to look in the mirror and he did that then walked into the bathroom and then came back out and his nose was cleaned up and didn't have a black eye anymore
"thanks" he whispered
"no problem, are you going to eat?" I whispered back
"no im not very hungry" he whispered
I nodded and then turned on a show and ate my food
"lets go to mine" i said
"ok" colby said
we all stood up and colby grabbed our clothed from yestaday and then through them at us and then grabbed some change of cloths for us
"thanks" we all said
he nodded and then i went into the closet colby lef the room jake went into the bathroom and cory stayed in the bedroom and we got changed
"YOU CHANGED CORY?" I yelled
"yep" he said
I walked out of the closet and jake and colby walked into the room and we went to mine and I said hi to my parants and then we went to my room and turned my tv one and we watched shows talked and ate for the rest of the day and then coty and jake left but colby stayed
"can i stay the night?" he asked
"ill ask be right back" i said
I walked downstairs to the loungeroom where my parants were
"can colby stay the night his dad not the best and he needs a brake" I asked
"ya ofcoure he can say as long as he needs" they said
I hugged them an dwent upstairs and saw colby asleep on the bed so I placed a blanket on top of hima dn took a photo and then laid next to him and fell asleep too
