colby's pov
after a few minutes our food finally came so I got up and got it and went to the couch and gave them their food and sat down next to Amanda and ate our food while watching a movie when Ava got a call
"I-I got to get this" Ava said
she left the room to answer
"Did she seem nervous to you?" Amanda asked
"ya she did kinder how you were when your parents would call you," I said
"fuck" she said
"What?" I asked
"she i-" she got cut off by Ava coming into the room with tears in her eyes
"can y-you from m-me home now?" she asked
"ya of course," I said
me and Amanda got up and we got into the car and drove home
"here we are," I said parking
"hey before you go," Amanda said
"what's up," Ava said
"text me if anything happens ok and we will come to pick you up," Amanda said
"ok," Ava said
she got out of the car and went inside then I started to drive off when I heard a scream so I jumped out of the car and ran into her house and saw her on the floor with blood gushing out of her head and her dad ran out of the door so I ran over to ava and picked her up and took her to the car and laid her head on amandas lap
"you ok if we take her to the hospital?" I asked
"of course" she
I drove to the hospital and got out of the car and took Ava off amandas lap and took her inside
"HELP IT'S MY DAUGHTERS FRIEND SHES HURT," I said
one of the doctors came running over and took her out of my hands and then took her away and then another doctor came over
"hey sir can you tell me what her name is," he asked
"Ava brook," I said
"ok can you guys please go to the waiting room someone will come to get you when we have news," he said
"ok," I said
we went to the waiting room and I texted Kat to come to pick Amanda up and take her out for a shopping spree to take her mind off of this because she looked worried
"I just texted Kat to take you for a shopping spree," I said
"no I can't go out on a shopping spree when my best friend is dying," she said
"well then you're going home," I said
"no I'm staying here," she said
"n-" I was interrupted by the doctor
"Ava brook," he said
we walked over to him
"what's wrong is ava ok," Amanda said
"I'm sorry to tell you this but ava she didn't make it due to too much blood loss," he said
Amanda then fell to the ground in tears
"ok thanks for telling us," I said
I picked Amanda up and she wrapped her legs around me and cried into my neck
"hey hey its ok," I said
"you can go say your goodbyes if you want," he said
Amanda jumped out of my arms and nodded
"yes please," she said
the doctor took us to the room where they had Ava and Amanda went up to her
"hey ava im sorry I didn't notice the signs I should of because I dealt with this my whole life and I didn't notice you did too im such a horrible friend I didn't pay more attention to you," she said with tears running down her face
"hey hey Amanda it's not your fault," I said
"yes it is she gave me so many signals and I didn't take notice of them and I saw the brises but I ignored them," she said
I pulled her in for a hug and she cried into my chest
"c-can we go n-now?" she asked
"ya of course," I said
"bye Ava I love you," she said
we left the room and saw the girls standing in the waiting room
"omg, what happened?" Kat asked
"a-ava s-she died," she said
"omg im so sorry," she said pulling her into a hug
"I wanna go home," Amanda said
"ok see you at home Kat," I said
"yep see you at home," Kat said
We got into the car and drove home
when we got home everyone was in the lounge room so I said hey to them and then I followed Amanda to her room but she slammed the door in my face and then I heard it lock and then a small scream followed by cries so I knocked on her door
"Princess can you please unlock the door," I said
"no," she said
"come on please," I said
"NO LEAVE ME ALONE," she said
"ok fine," I said
I went into my room and had a shower because I was covered in Ava's blood
