Amanda pov
I walked into the house and shut the door and then I felt someone push me into the wall
"What did I tell you about sleeping over at people's houses and telling us days before you sleep at theirs," he said
"to tell you days before," I said
"yep now time for your punishment," he said
he threw me against the wall making me fall over and then he started hitting, punching, and kicking me
"p-please s-stop i-i d-didn't p-plan t-to s-sleep o-over at hers i-it just ha-happened," I said
"don't talk," he said
he continued until I passed out
I woke up on the floor and no one was around so I called Colby
"hey kido you ok," he asked
"n-no i-i n-need help," I said
"ok," he said
"I will be right there," he said
"o-ok," I said
once we hanged I fell unconscious
Colby's pov
I finally got into the house and I saw Amanda on the floor passed out so I picked her up and realized how light she was
"jazz I hope she eats," I thought to myself
I took her to the car and put her in the back seat resting her head on Sam then I got into the front and then she started to wake up
Amanda pov
I started to wake up and I was on someone's lap so I looked to see who it was and it was Sam
"h-hey," I said
"hey kiddo," he said
"were we going?' I asked
"the hospital," he said
"n-no n-no hospital," I said
"Why," Colby said
"Because I just can't," I said
"ok umm you don't seem too bad so you should be ok," he said
"ok good," I said
"Can I sleep I'm tired," I asked
"no you might have a concussion," Colby said
"I don't think I do I'm pretty sure he didn't hit me in the head," I said
"you have cuts and bruises all over your face but ok whatever you say go to sleep I don't feel like arguing with you when your hurt," Colby said
"Thanks," I said
I went to sleep with Sam rubbing my back softly
back at the house
I woke up to someone carrying me so I look up to see who it was and it was Colby
"I can walk," I said
"No you can't I know the pain you are in," he said
"W-what do you mean?" I asked
"I had an abusive father and he beat me just a bit worse than you," he said
"oh I'm sorry," I said
"hey it's ok don't worry about it, he got what he deserved," he said
he laid me down on the bed and pulled the covers over me
"get some rest I will come to check on you later ok kiddo," Colby said
"c-can you stay?" I asked
"ok," he said
he lay next to me and laid my head on his chest
"Thanks," I said
"for what?' he asked
"for taking me home last night and for saving me today," I said
"It's okay go to sleep I'm going to call the cops on your dad," he said
"and my mum?" I asked
"Does she hurt you," he asked
"yes they take turns," I said
"ok on her too," he said
I nodded and then fell asleep
Colby's pov
Amanda fell asleep on my chest so I grabbed my phone and called the police

me-Colby
police:911 what your emergency
me: my friend was being abused by her dad and mum shes at mine right now I just picked her up but her dad and mum weren't there when I went to hers
police: ok what's the address
me: paperbark rd house number 7
police: ok sending police to watch out for them but is your friend hurt
me: no not really just a few bruises
police: ok thanks for calling we will call you back if needed
me: ok thanks
I hung up the phone and started rubbing Amanda's back when heard a knock on the door
"come in" I whispered
"hey how is she" Sam whispered
"I'm not sure she hasn't talked," I said
"ok tell me if you need anything," he said
"will do," I said
he left the room and I watched a few TikToks and then fell asleep
