Sams pov
I was laying on my bed when Colby called me so I answered it
S: hey ready?
C: help I can't get up
S: on my way
I hung up and then ran out to my car and raced to his house when I got there the gate was open so I just went through and then I hoped out of the car and ran to the door and opened it to see Colby laying on the floor passed with blood all over his face and his all over his jumper
I ran over to him and picked him up carefully and took him to the car and drove him to the closest hospital and then raced him inside
"HELP MY BEST FRIEND IS HURT" I yelled
The doctors came running over and took him out of my arms and took him into a room and then another doctor came over to me
"do you know what happened to him?" he asked
"his dad" I said
"What did his dad do?" he asked
"I don't know I wasn't there he just called me and told me he couldn't get up so I went to his and saw him passed out on the floor," I said
"how do you know it was his dad?" she asked
"Because he does it all the time but today was worse," I said
"ok thanks for the help go wait in the waiting room," she said
"ok," I said
I went to the waiting room and texted my mum and dad telling them where I am and what happened and then I texted the boys and said that Colby is in the hospital and they told me that they were on their way
After five minutes Cory and Jake came running over to me and hugged me
"What happened?" they ask
"His dad isn't who you think he is," I said
"COLBY BROCK" they called out
Me Jake and Cory stood up and went over to them
"this way," he said
we followed him to Colby's room and he was awake connected up to machines and he was playing with his rings
"Hey man, you ok?" I asked
"yep all good, I'm always in the hospital so its nothing new at all," he said smiling at me
"I shouldn't have let you go home," I said
"hey sam it's not your fault it's mine, he wasn't even going to hurt me, he just wanted to show me his new girl but I got mad and yelled at him and called him names and then he told her to leave and started hurting me and then I tried to stick up for my self but that just made everything worse," he said
I walked up to him and so did the boys and we carefully hugged him
"hey sam," he said
"ya?" I asked
"Thanks for helping me he is going to jail," he said smiling
"omg finally and it's ok" I said
"do you guys wanna stay in the house with me?" he asked
"of course," we all said
we just sat and talked for a while and then the boys had to go but I decided to stay the night
"do you want me to go get us macces?" I asked
"yes please," he said
I nodded and then I headed to macces and ordered him his favorite food and then headed back
"here you go," I said and passed him his food
"thanks," he said
I nodded and we ate our food and talked for a bit and then the nurse came in
"you can go home now if you want you are perfectly healthy" she said
"ok," we said
she unhooked him and gave him the discharge papers and he signed it and then I helped him off the bed and he put his arm around my neck and I put my arm around his waist and helped him get to the car and then we drove back to his house
when we got there we walked in and saw the police sitting on the couch
"heyyy?" Colby said
"hey Colby sorry to barge in like this but we have arrested your dad and he will be locked up for a while now just thought you would like to know " the cops said
"ok umm thanks" He said
"ok have a nice night," they said and left
we went to Colby's room and I plopped onto the couch
"I'm going for a shower," colby said
"ok," I said
I then turned on the shower and waited for Colby to get out of the shower
