amandas pov

Me and my dad came home from the park and the roommates were on the couch but I didn't feel like talking to anyone so I went to my room and ignored the people trying to talk to me and fell onto my bed

I went on my phone and watched some TikTok but all I could think of was my mum and dad so turned off my phone and looked at the ceiling when there was a knock on the door so I rolled over to face the wall away from the door and pretended to be asleep hoping that they would leave but instead, they came in

"I know your not asleep princess," my dad said

I didn't say anything back because I felt like I was going to break any minute 

"oh ok," he said

I heard the door shut and then I felt him lay down next to me

"ok so I know you do not want to talk because you feel like you're going to break at any minute so I'm going to stay here and comfort you by just being here and hugging you," he said

he pulled me into a hug and started rubbing my back

after a few minutes of him doing that, I fell asleep

Colby's pov

"hey Colby is Amanda ok shes not answering us like you did when your parents died," Sam said

"will be right back I'm going to check on her," I said

I got up from the couch and went upstairs and I heard someone following me so I stopped walking and turned around to see Sam

"Are you following me or are you going to your room? Don't lie to me I will know" I asked

"I'm following you," he said

"go back down I need to talk to her alone," I said

"ohh ok," he said

I went to amandas room and knocked on the door but there was no answer and I saw her on her bed

"I know you're not sleeping princess," I said

she didn't say anything and then I realized she didn't feel like talking because she probably feels like she was going to break

"ohhh," I said

I shut the door and laid down next to her

"ok so I know you do not want to talk because you feel like you're going to break any more so I'm going to stay here and comfort you by just being here and hugging you," I said

I pulled her into a hug and rubbed her back and after a few minutes she fell asleep so I texted the boys

m: hey guys amandas ok shes sleeping now she is just in a ruff spot right now and is handling it how I did but without cutting don't come into her room because I'm going to go to sleep as well

c: ok

j: ok

s: ok tell us if you need anything

m: ok

I then turned off my phone, made sure that Amanda wasn't having any more bad dreams, and fell asleep hoping that she stays asleep for a while because she hasn't slept much lately.
