Space Depression! Purple x reader

It was a peaceful day, and somehow everyone was doing just fine. You were in the library or rather the study room in the ship reading a book, it was nice, it was calm and everything was going great however. Today you noticed a certain fevers or disease that was spreading around, but not one where you could get sick from, rather a mental one. None of you knew how it happened or where it started but all you remember was that, White, Blue, Green and Black

Where coming down with a tired yet depressed state. Maybe it was from space and lack of exploration with no official land to stand on, always on a movie vehicle. But it had already been a few days from the time White, Blue, Green and Black were all heavily space depressed. However what no one knew was that one of them was also hit, a wave of space depression had filled one of the crew mates. It was purple, no one knew, not even him however last night

And today he could really feel it. He didn't tell anyone he got the same disease or mental state as the other 4 on the same day, he was very good at hiding how he feels, he feels as if he should deal with this on his own. You felt a strange aura around you,
You sat there all cozy on a bean bag in the library room. There were many beans bags, carpets, computers with chairs and tables and book shelves, however now something was really strange. You sighed to yourself and closed the book and closed

Your eyes in frustration, the lamp still lighting the area you sat, all around you was dark. You put the book on the floor and then looked to the hallway out the door, you saw Purple quickly walk by, it was strange. He was usually more happy and social with everyone, but you remembered what happened an hour ago, everyone was in the cafeteria eating lunch however Purple got up and excused himself, everyone shrugged it off however no one had seen him

By then. You were curious to where he was going, you slowly got up and tippy-toed to the door and peered to the left where he went, he was walking to the very fair corner of the ship, it was a room, the cleaning supply room. You were curious to why he went in there, there wasn't anything in there that could be some what interesting and was a very small tight space. You came closer and closer and waited near a pole to see if he'd come out, however after 10min he didn't seem to come out.

You were getting worried. People say there on the ground where he kept to himself, the light up above making the room more clear. He held his arm, bending his knee so he could rest, no one could find him he thought to himself, he was so worried for no reason and felt super upset. You sighed to yourself and slowly walked up to the door, where you gently knocked on it, this surprised Purple quite harshly. You slowly opened the door to see Purple looking at you with shock and fear.

" P-purple? " you asked softly " Grey?!!?!? What in the world are you doing here?!??!? Why did you open the door!!!???? " He asked loudly. You slightly stumbled backwards and shook your head " Purple in so so so sorry. I didn't mean to intrude, I was just worried about you. I saw you walk past the library where I was reading and you looked tired or upset? And I followed you to where you went so I could talk to you but when I waited you never came back out.

Creepy, I was just so- " You looked to the ground, feeling shameful and embarrassed. He then said " no no, it's alright, I reframe from raising my voice, I'm fine, don't worry, you can leave now " He says as he looks to his lap. You then frown " But Purple.. you're my friend, I can't just leave. I would like to stay " You say then smiled, he looked at you confused " why do you want to help me? " He asked then looked at you. " you barely know me, I know we've had our interactions but why do you care enough to want to help me? " He asked genuinely.

You jumped up next to him, he looked at you a bit surprised " well, you're my friend are you not? You're very kind " you said and smiled lightly. He lightly blushed " what's been on your mind? You can talk to me " You said then tilted your head in a friendly manner. He sits back up straight " I don't even know, why I'm feeling like this, you know how Blue, white, Green and Black were all heavily depressed for a few days " He said breathing deeply. " yes I do, that was about more than a week ago "

You said as you raised your eyebrow " I was....also depressed and felt the same wave at the time, but I guess, it never stopped or ended. This space depression stayed..... " He said quietly. You looked at him wide eyed " w-why didn't you tell any of us? Why did you hide this " you asked trying to be calm and not panic. " listen. I'm sorry alright, I don't actually know when I would've said this to anyway if you hadn't been curious to where and how I was doing. I just, I thought I could deal with this alone..... I thought I had to... " his voice become more quiet, turning into silence.

You felt a tear form in your eye as you immediately hugged him, he was taken a back " G-Grey? " He asked while flustered. " Oh Purple, please, pleased don't ever think like that again sweetheart. I'm right here, just talk to me whenever you need or at least if you feel like you can't talk to anyone on the ship talk to me. Please, no one should have to know what that feels like " You said as a tear fell down your eye. Purple then relaxed and hugged back " T-thank you Grey " He smiled while blushing. All of a sudden

His cheeks turned bright red at the realization " D-Did you call me sweetheart? " He asked covering his face with one hand as the other was around. You sit back up " Oh dear I'm so sorry, that was by accident. I mean to me you are a sweetheart but I didn't mean to say that out loud. Sorry Purple, I tend to just call people what they are- " You blushed hard as he immediately covers your mouth with his hand " No no, Thank you, no one had ever been so nice to me " He said smiling happily, a tear falling down his cheek. You looked up at him and wiped  his cheek and

pulled him in close. " Oh Purple, don't cry, just relax with me, just be here with me " You said softly as he laid in your arms. He had never felt so warm and comfortable or yet, safe before. He loved it, he felt your arms holding him, as he did the same, you were so small and fragile compared to his size but at the same time your gentleness and gentle touch made him feel so incredibly loved. He smiled to himself " Thank you Grey " He said smiling and closed his eyes. " Of course Purple " you smiled watching him daze into your lap. You feel his grip tighten, he snuggled his head into you as he breathed calmly.
