Chapter 18: Science!

"What makes you think that I'd ever want to hurt her, you idiot!" Senku yells at Hyoga

"Because you are a cold hearted nerd! She deserves someone as strong as her!"

"She deserves someone as smart as her"

"SHE DESERVES," Kohaku began, "A BREAK FROM YOUR BICKERING, YOU IDIOTS! Did either one of you realize she's been gone an hour? No? Let me tell you why... You're stressing her out so much she can't breathe, did you know that was possible?"

Senku sighed, "She's done that since we were little, she has her coping mechanisms but unless the source," he glared at Hyoga, "Is taken care of then she physically can't fix it-"

"You're part of the source idiot! Both of you..." she sighed, "I don't know what she sees in you... Or what I'm missing but I know she loves you and seeing you act like such a 'douche' makes her upset! She said if you fight it out you fight it out not to the death of course, but just to get it over with! My god look at yourselves..." she shook her head and left

Senku and Hyoga looked at eachother and nodded, a temporary truce for her sake

"I'll go comfort Y/N, you stop being so creepy..."

"Tsukasa is creepier I promise"

Senku scoffed and followed where he remembered Y/N going, he found her a few minutes away sobbing and shaking

"Y/N, honey it's me... I've been worried about you"

No response

"Baby-"

"I thought you could handle it yourself like you say you can-"

She just repeated it over and over again melting into his arms

"I'm sorry my love, I'm so sorry..." He stroked her hair, "You'll be ok, I'm here for you angel"

An hour later

Well that was dumb

The girl was literally kicking rocks, "I'm sorry my love... I don't know what came over me..."

"It's ok angel, I know the lack of pills complicated your anxiety... Sadly we aren't equipped to make them yet but as soon as I can I will!"

After a full day of planning what's needed for starting medical research they laid in bed and fell asleep in each others arms

They're so weird, it's adorable...
