"Let's sum it up, shall we?" The purple haired boy said as he placed a notebook on the table. The ravenette nodded.
They were having lunch at a restaurant on the roadside. They had placed the order and started discussing in low voice, although the restaurant was isolated and was empty except for one waitress and the chefs in the kitchen.
Taehyung continued-- "First, Kim Suzy. According to her parents and neighbours, a very optimistic and active girl. Top grades in school and friendly. Suddenly stops talking and hides away in her room before she was murdered. The only noises heard were breaking of glasses. No evidence was found in her bedroom." He glanced at the ravenette. He continued as there was no question from the other side.
"Second, Tang Sook. According to her parents had gone crazy three weeks prior her murder, which was on 3rd October. Used to get angry quickly, which was very much unlike her. Had started new food habits as well. We found claw marks under her bed and a few inside the cupboard. That's it." He sighed and kept the notebook back in.
"Hmm." Jungkook said in agreement. "It's 3:00pm already we are late for lunch. Anyways, we will go to Park Ha's house after this. It is a bit far. We will return till eight in the evening if we leave at four."
"Yeah, that's a no go. We'll do rest of the two houses tomorrow. I promised Chimchim I'll be home by five. We are going to spend some time together." Taehyung skipped through details as to why they are meeting.
Jungkook gritted his teeth unconsciously. "So-- You and Jimin huh?"
"Yeah, we're meeting at five." Taehyung replied nonchalantly.
The ravenette decided to say the thing that has been bothering him since morning. "When did you first meet him?"
"Same as you. In that unlucky meeting room."
"It was that fast, huh?" Jungkook was somewhere between annoyed and amused.
"What do you mean?" Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows.
"I mean--" The ravenette stopped as he saw the waitress coming. They maintained the silence till she stepped inside the kitchen again. They dived in. They were starving. Interrogating people who have lost their child can be tiring. Especially when questioning the women.
"I meant-how did it all happen so quickly. As far as I know you-you take time in-you know-these matters." The ravenette continued, enjoying the food.
"First of all, you don't know me. Secondly, what the hell are you talking about?" Taehyung furrowed his brows in confusion.
"I mean-Didn't you two spend the first night together? -like I heard you had drinks and intimate conversations." The ravenette tried his best not to ask directly. He hoped the other would guess from the clues.
"Yeah, we did. He came in my room with a bottle of wine. So, what about it? I don't get the point here." Of course, Taehyung was getting the point. But Taehyung being, well - Taehyung-he wanted Jungkook to say it.
"You call each other by nicknames. Jimin even called you his soulmate." Jungkook tried his best to sound natural.
"Yeah, he is my soulmate. I knew it the moment I saw him." He was now looking at Jungkook straight in the eyes. And he could see it. Jungkook couldn't hold it in any longer.
Jungkook averted the gaze and resumed eating. "Is that when you started being together? The night he came to your room and--" he couldn't continue. He didn't want to.
Taehyung was having all the fun. "I don't know what you're implying. Please elaborate."
That's it. Jungkook looked up. "Since when did you guys start having sex? For how long have you been each other's fuck buddies? Or is it more?" His voice was low but it was firm. It held command in it.
