(TW: VIOLENCE)
~
Jungkook's POV.
06:30pm
I waited outside the white bungalow. The streets were awfully quiet. No noise heard other than the children playing the park down the lane. Taehyung was inside the house probably talking to the girl. An uneasiness crept in my chest. I had told him to inform me if something goes wrong. A long one minutes passed. I noticed the comms were silent for quite a while now.
Just when I thought to retrieve to the car, I saw Cherrycheeks rush towards me. He had a flustered expression as he abruptly stopped in front of me and shoved a crumbled paper in my hands. I gave him a confused look and unfolded the sheet.
"Where's the girl?"
Taehyung explained. "The house is empty. There's no one. The girl had kept it on the side table. She says she is near Ophelia Hall. We should go."
I was slightly shocked at the new piece of information. We had been waiting outside their house for an hour now, but we hadn't seen a single soul leave the bungalow. "We should inform the others."
The silver head nodded and started walking to their car. "I did. Jimin is sending help."
We hastily took our seats. We only had half an hour before seven.
The ride was awkward and silent. Taehyung kept staring outside the window. I concentrated on driving as fast as I could. But I couldn't help but notice the other's weird behaviour. I sighed and decided to have a small conversation. "So- there's a change in this plan."
Taehyung turned towards him and agreed monotonously. "Yes. She must be in danger if we don't reach quickly."
I took a brief glance at him and felt- how is he so calm?
"Okay. And what about the other thing- what are you planning next?" Since we were on comms, I was sure he would get that I was talking about our leader. We had agreed on not talking about it openly.
The silver head kept his eyes on the road. "The other thing- no. I haven't thought of anything yet."
His responses were so weird. Now my suspicions grew. Cherrycheeks would never think about Namjoon Hyung like that. Taehyung would panic at the thought. And why does he smell like smoke right now?
I decided to play along. "You know that I always have your back. You can trust me. Like always."
Taehyung looked at me in the eye and smiled a little. He rested a hand on mine and squeezed it a little. "I know. Like always. And thank you for always being there for me." Damn.
I needed one last thing to confirm my suspicions. "When we are done with today, we will sit down and talk this out. I will make you your favourite coffee." Time went awfully slow as I waited for his response. I observed his every move.
"Okay." The silver head smile again.
That is not how he smiles.
We were a little distance for Jones'. I turned around a corner entering an isolated street. I parked the car and got out.
"This is a short cut. The basements of this building and Ophelia Hall are connected. We should go this way." He stepped out as well. He followed me and turned another corner. I made sure that we are alone.
After a while of walking, I turned to face the other.
"Taehyung hates coffee."
I landed a hard punch on the other's jaw. He stumbled back by the sudden impact. I didn't give him time to recover and pinned him to the brick wall and landed a few punches in the other's stomach. Blood dripped from his mouth as he lunged forward at me. He grabbed my collar and trusted a fist in my stomach. I felt the sting in the lower abdomen. I kicked him hard the in the knees and he screeched in pain. He fell on the ground clutching his leg.
I kneeled to his height and asked in a deep voice. "Where is Taehyung?"
The other's face changed colours at that. He smacked his head on my chin and stumbled back. I groaned in pain and licked the blood of off my lips. With a single strike on the neck, I wrecked him unconscious. I inserted a CN-JP, and the magic tool Hoseok gave us in his body and ran back to the car.
I glanced at the time and cursed under my breath. Only ten minutes before seven. I tried the comms. "Park Jimin respond this is JK."
I expected the voice to ring in my ears. But none came. My heartbeat grew erratic. I tried calling him on my phone, but nothing. I tried to ease my breath and pressed harder on the gas. I just hoped Taehyung was still at the bungalow. "I'm coming Cherrycheeks."
All the negative thought just ram into my mind during all the wrong times. Fuck.
I didn't even bother to park. One minute for seven. I stormed in the house panting my heart out. "Taehyung!" I ran to find the girl's room.
I didn't remember this house being massive at all. The rooms suddenly seemed larger in number and all the corridors were dark as hell. I could not care less. I kept calling out. It was suddenly ridiculously hot there. "Taehyung! Taehyung, I'm here. Where are you?" I ran through the long corridors with a heavy heart. My mind just would not stop thinking about all the terrible things.
"Taehyu-" I stopped in my tracks as I spotted the flock of platinum hair on the floor. "TAEHYUNG!!"
He was shaking all over as he lay flat on the floor. His eyes were at the back of his head. He was paler than paper. There was a claw mark on his pale cheek, blood gushing out of the wound. I noticed he was gravely wounded. There was blood all around him the floor. Sweat socked up his entire form. The veins on his body popped up as he grew colder than ice. I cupped his cheek to fill it with warmth. He appeared like he was gasping for breath. Incoherent words left his perfect lips. I shook him to wake him up from whatever he was under. I felt my heart burst in my chest seeing his helpless state. I kept shaking him and tried my hardest not to just breakdown there and there.
"Hey, hey- wake up- hey- Taetae- Taehyung wake up. Cherrycheeks- wake up." He kept mumbling under his breath. I kept shaking him out the horrible state.
Taehyung suddenly sat up and screamed. "JUNGKOO--" he choked on his own breath, and I held him up.
I let a single tear slip. "I'm here- I'm here-- wake up, Taehyung- wake up, wake up wake up Tae-" I hugged him tight tried to warm up his falling temperature. I felt my heart clench at the horrific sight. He wasn't breathing and I couldn't do anything. I couldn't even call for help. I did the only thing I knew; keep calling out. "Wake up Cherrycheeks- you have to wake up. Please- I beg you. Wake up Tae- wake up- Cherrycheeks you must wake up come on Taehyung-- wake up wake up!!-WAKE UP KIM TAEHYUNG!!!"
This isn't helping.
I stood up and scooped the silver head with me. His legs were dangling on the floor as I threw his arms over my shoulders. He lay limp in arms, still shaking terribly, as I turned to get out of there.
Suddenly, the stormy wind hit the open window. All the things in the room flew here and there. A loud sound took over the area. A chopper.
I saw the rifle on the chopper ready to fire. My eyes widen in their sockets.
I hastily turned around. I shut my eyes tightly as I pinned Taehyung to the wall, covering his entire form with mine-- waiting for impact.

Taehyung's POV.
06:30pm
Not to act all pessimistic- but I did not like this one bit. There was this strange stretch in time that it just felt- wrong.
With one final glance at Jungkook I stepped in the white bungalow. The house was very silent except for the noise of kids playing in the park down the street that came from the creaking window.
I entered the main hall and announced my presence. "Mr. Jones! May I come in?" The empty house resonated with my call. I waited for a response. I proceeded to the girl's room.
I thought that something moved behind the sofa. I took a breath and continued walking. I felt the strange itches on by back again. I'm being watched.
"Chimchim- I think we might have a third party here." I silently muttered under my breath. I saw a shadow move behind me.
I don't remember this place being this massive. There were more rooms than last time, and it was darker than necessary. A sudden heaviness crept on my chest.
I took slow calculated steps and muttered again. "Jungkook come in." A beat passed in intense silence. "Jungkook. Come inside. Do you copy?"
The voice I was expecting never came.
I heard the flower vase break behind me. With a swift turn I spotted the broken pieces and a shadow again. I took a shaky breath and continued walking through the long corridors.
"Chimchim. Jeon is not responding. Abort is not an option. Do you copy?" I tried for one last time. I realised my fear is correct. The comms are down.
With a heavy heart I take a random turn. I feel the person watching me do the same. "You know-- I know you are following me. How about you come in front of me, and we sort this out. Yes?" I stay still. I could feel all my five senses on fire.
Time almost stilled around me. I was waiting for any sort of response.
I suddenly felt a funny weight on my shoulder. I looked down to find a-- tail?
Before I knew four long nails were deep in my left calf. I grunt in pain. The warm blood was quick to trickle down my leg.
The person disappeared before I could even take a good look. I limp a step forward. I see a shadow in the room on my left. Suddenly the person was in the room on my right.
Something warm trickled down my cheek and a searing pain followed behind. I realised that three deep scratches adorned my cheekbone. I lick of the blood near my lip and limp forward. By now I at least knew the person was quite shorter than me.
I made sure my voice was loud and clear. "How about we stop this hide-and-seek game, and you show your pretty face? Pussy cat."
A high-pitched chuckle echoed the house. I small figure stepped at the end of the corridor. It was a small girl. Her figure covered in all black and her face hidden behind the mask.
"Aww-- you got scared of a small kitty. How sad."
Her mocking didn't faze me whatsoever. I took a small step forward and she mirrored my actions. I was careful with my words.
"What are you?"
She mocked innocence as she kept walking towards me. "Let's just say--
Your plausible death. Or weakness. I'm okay with both." She laughed again.
A long moment passed, and I questioned again. "What's your weapon?" The slight quiver in the tone fortunately went unnoticed.
"You mean this?" She raised a hand near her face. With a sharp sound thin metal knives grew from her nails. Her hand looked like a paw of a lioness.
I tried not to gulp down a lump in my throat. My right hand secretly reached for the knife in my waist.
The girl snickered, not once faltering in her steps. "It's a gift."
I felt tingles all over my body as the adrenalin spread like wildfire through my veins. I tightly clutched the knife and lunged forward.
She pounced on my form, her sharp claws shining bright in the darkness. I grabbed her wrist and stabbed her in the lower abdomen. She grunted in my ear. Her tail was quick to wrap around my neck. I choked on air, and she dug her teeth in my shoulder. I tugged at the tail wrapping my neck with one hand while the other hand stopped her wrist from attacking further. For a little girl she was too powerful.
I took a swift glance at my wristwatch.
Five minutes to seven.
I didn't have time for this. With a final force, I threw her off me. I ran around calling out the girl's name.
"Hannah-- Jones Hannah!! I'm Kim Taehyung!! I'm here to rescue you!! Please-- where are you?!" I was running out of breath. The tiger girl-- or whatever she was-- was nowhere either. This place had turned into a maze. I checked every room looking for our victim. Time was quick to pass.
Three minutes to seven.
"Ugg!! Fuck--" I was panting from too much running.
This was the last room of this corridor. As expected, she was right there. She was looking outside her window. Her hands gently rested on the window seal with her eyes down casted.
"Jones Hannah!!" She abruptly turned around to my call. Her eyes that supposed to hold satisfaction, held-- fear? I decided to explain rather than scaring her more.
"I'm here to take you away. You are in danger. Someone is going to kidnap you. I'm here-- to rescue you. Please come with me." I gently took a step forward and extended my hand.
Instead of calming down, she took a step back and clutched the open window behind her.
The next words that left her mouth just left me stunned.
"It's not supposed to be you--"
Her expression was mortified as she questioned my horrified self.
"Are you here alone? Where's the other one? His name-- Uh-- Jungkook!! Yeah Jungkook. Where is he?"
I snapped out of my shock. I blinked away the shock and answered her gently. "Uh-- yeah. He--he is outside. We are here to take you away from this danger. Come on! we don't have time."
Suddenly the door burst open revealing my previous enemy. I wasted no time and ran to Jones Hannah wanting to protect her from-- whatever.
As soon as I clutched her upper arm pulling her away, what felt like-- electric current surged through my body at the touch. I could feel the blood rush out of my face. A tinnitus engulfed my hearing. My head started spinning. Several voices rung in my head. I couldn't breathe.
There was a flash.
A garden of dandelions and a kid was running through the flowers. Giggling as he picked in his little hands. He turned to look at the side. He shouted across the field. "Eomma!! Looks!! I picked twenty- three flowews." He giggled again.
Flash.
Little Taehyung was laying on a healthcare bed. The flashlight on the doctor's forehead blinded his vision. All he could see was a syringe nearing his eyes. A weird pain took over the little body.
Flash.
"AAAAAHHHHH!!!" A small boy was standing naked in the corner of an empty room. He was covered in all blood. Not a single spot clean on his cowering figure. He was calling for help-- screaming in pain.
Flash.
The silver head was walking down to the cafe of the BTS mansion. He reached the door and opened it with one hand. He was left rooted on his spot, finding Jimin and Yoongi making out in the counter.
Flash.
Suddenly he was standing in front of a blood drenched Jungkook who was cupping his face. His vision was blurred by his own tears. There was a weird tug in his chest as he kept shaking his head.
"No-- no come with us."
Jungkook had a sad smile on his face and his pale cheeks were wet with his tears.
"It's okay--" his voice was shaky as he left his face.
Taehyung suddenly felt fear rise in his heart. "No--No!! Jungkook come back here right now."
The last thing he sees is the ravenette's back on him.
"JUNGKOO-"
Flash.
All seven men were in the conference room. Their leader was kneeling in front them, sobbing loudly.
"I'm sorry-- so sorry. I-- I did not have a choice. I'm-- I'm sorry."
Flash.
Jungkook was dressed up a beautiful deep teel silk shirt. He was wearing a detailed golden mask. They both were in a masquerade ball. The other had his hand extended towards him and his signature smirk plastered on his handsome face.
"AAAGGGGGHHHHHH!!!! AGHH!" A screeching scream near my ear brought me back from my-- dream?
