“Jeon Jungkook. Are you in position?” Min Yoongi growled against the wooden door. The rusty voice demanded response though the earpiece.

“…”

“Fucking come in. I’m going to go to the suite. Do you copy?” He was getting more impatient by second.

He didn’t know the true reason behind his agitation or rather—desperation. His frustrated breaths and the unresponsive behaviour were just adding fuel to his blazing heart. He paced up the endless stairs in frenzied hurry. The long corridors longer than necessary. He finally reached the white marbled door of the honeymoon suite. The snowy palms pushed the door in a rush. The dark irises quick to scan the area of the large bedroom. Long wires, computers and earpieces were scattered across the wooden surface.

But the long fingers tinkering with the keyboard were nowhere to be found.

“Fuck—” He muttered the curse under his breath. The black clothed shanks strided across the room, shaky breaths following the sound. “Angel, where are you?” The vulnerable voice called out for the two agents.

He opened the bathroom door and felt his heart drop to the pits of his guts.

An unconscious Hoseok on the floor and a message on the mirror. Written in blood.

‘Not all angels reside in heaven. Some walk the Earth. Well—I just found the right one to play with.’

Taehyung’s POV

Shit. Shit. I’m going to lose it.

I had my face in my cold shaking palms as the right foot just wouldn’t stop stomping the marble floor below. The shoe ticking repeatedly against the surface was unheard by my clogged ears. The shiny bathroom around me went unseen as well.

“Mmph~ Jungkook.”

Stop. I continued telling myself. But the noises just wouldn’t go away.

“Oh~ Lily—so good for me.”

It means nothing Taehyung. Stop panicking over bullshit. My mind kept repeating the scene again and again. And I calmed myself—again and again.

“Thank you.”

Even if I was two floors away from the ball, their noises haunted my hearing. I was grateful that I had stormed out. I don’t know what I would have done if I had waited any longer. But—their deafening sounds were just unforgiving.

“For what?”

His voice was so gentle when he questioned her all snuggled up in the blankets. She would whine like the stupid bitch that she is, but Jungkook treated her like a fragile flower.

“For coming in my life.”

My chest suddenly grew heavy. Her words held so much sincerity. My mind was too busy to notice the river flowing down my cheeks. I just kept repeating the word ‘stop’ as if it was the only word I knew.

“I missed you—in the time period that you were gone I—I realised a lot of things.”

Stop.

“—and I know that this is stupid and—unplanned and well- stupid—but I think I can’t undo it now.”

Stop. Please stop.

“Jungkook, I think—”

Stop.

Stop.

Stop.
