4. 'daddy issues'

The alarm turned on. I wasn't asleep because, I woke up 5 minutes before it. I looked at Raine to check if they are still asleep. They weren't in their bed. They were laying on the FLOOR.

- 'Raine? Why the hell are you on the floor?'
I asked and laughed at them. I stood up to shake them.

- 'H-huh? Oh I must have fell from the bed when I was asleep.'
They said nervously.

- 'you sure did. Let's get ready, we can't skip another day of studying.'
I said.

We both did what we usually do in the morning and ate breakfast. We left our "home" and headed to the college.

- 'you know what Eda? I dreamt about you last night.'

I looked at them. My eyes brightened. Maybe they were dreaming about me because, they like me? No sure they don't love me but maybe..? Nah I'm just overthinking.

- 'the dream was about our times in hexide. How we managed to make the hallways full of slime. But it wasn't exactly realistic dream. The slime were eating people.'
They explained.

- 'I didn't know that you like to dream about eating people?'
I laughed.

Raines pov.

- 'I didn't know that you like to dream about eating people?'
Eda laughed.

I had to skip the part when she rescue me and we kiss. I want to be with her but it's obvious that she sees me as a best buddy and roommate. Oh god I wish we could be more than just friends.

Edas pov.

We talked for a while and we finally made our way to the college.
I headed to my first period, so did Raine and we started to study. 3 periods passed and I finally had time to talk with Raine.

- 'hello Songbird. How are you?'
I asked.

- 'a new nickname huh?'
They joked.

- 'naw, I stole this one from Darius.'

As we were talking Darius joined our conversation.

- 'Hi guys! I didn't see you yesterday. What happened?'
He asked.

- 'oh i was sick and Raine didn't let me be home alone.'
I said in response and laughed.

- 'aww so sweet.'
He said ironically and made an ugly puppy face.

- 'naw more sweet are you and alador.'
They said. They looked at me and grabbed my waist.

- 'oh Darius i love you so much!'
They said in a high pitch voice.

- 'I love you too alador let's get married.'
I joined the joke.

- 'haha. Very funny. I should go next period starts in about 2 minutes.'
Darius said and left.

Me and Raine had the next period together so the time didn't bother us.

- 'you saw that face? He was red as a tomato!'
I started to laugh.

- 'ughh i lost motivation to study. Wanna go back home get swimsuits and go swimming to that lake we found?.'
Raine said.

- 'suprising offer but sure why not.'
I said.

We made our way back home and packed swimsuits and a few other things to the bag. We left and headed to the lake.

- 'did we take everything?'
Raine asked.

- 'yea we got sun cream, some food, swim suits..'
I started to count.

- 'okay we don't need anything else.'
They anwsered.
