I watch the clock in crowded rooms, I was doing the same thing the day I met you. I was counting the seconds waiting for just the right time so I could make a break for it and leave. After we met though the feeling of wanting to leave was replaced with the feeling of wanting to stay.
It was an unfamiliar feeling, but it was one that over time I grew comfort in.. I grew to love the feeling of staying grounded. It no longer felt like I was a balloon gonna slip away at any minute of the clock ticking. Time had stopped ticking.. It felt steady now until it wasn't but even after all that I still stayed grounded because you taught a minute in an hour is nothing to every tick a clock makes.
