Sea Sickness

I've always been drawn to the ocean or in your candy-coated words the sea. I would call to the waves pushing me, inventively colliding with me.

The salt slathered across my lips as you once were. You were dancing with the waves entangled like seaweed vines as my thoughts entangled yours.

It wraps you up in the embrace of the shifting sea, it will pull you down below the surface and just when you're struggling to breathe it releases.

You swim to the top only to be entangled again by the seaweed playing its games of the sea drifing in and out. In and out.
