"how did it happen anyway?" Grace asked Tom while we ate dinner on the terrace watching the sunset
Tom put down his food "my hand got stuck when I was jumping down"
Grace made a yikes face as well as me.
The thought of Tom loosing his hand because it got stuck isn't something I wanted to appear in my head
"Remember what I said. It can get worse if you use it" James from next to me said
Tom hummed not really caring what James's saying
"I'm just trying to help..." James whispered so only I could hear
"I know" I put my hand on his thigh
"I thought about night swimming. Anyone in?" Nicolas said when we finished our food
"And get eaten by a shark. No thanks, pass" Archer said from next to his girlfriend who agreed
"Sharks are most active at night. I don't think you should go" Tom nodded
"And how do you know so much about sharks?" James said sarcastically. I tried to look into his eyes to somehow tell him to stop, but he kept his eyes on Tom
"I have to know about the sea I'm surfing in" Tom raised brows at James who gritten his teeth
"Oh so you surf" James said fake excited. All the other people were just looking at the two
"Since I was fourteen, yeah"
"Well good for you but you can't go with us anyway" James shrugged and looked at me "you coming?" I bit my lip
I'm afraid of sharks even since my real mom forsed me to watch documents about them. That's also a reason why I'm scared of depts
"I don't want to risk anything, neither should you guys" I told them. Only Nick wanted to go at that point
"And what if we stay on shoals. We'll just sit there and talk" James pleadingly looked at me
"I don't think a white shark can get into the shore" I shrugged
"Just the two of us then" I looked at James
"You guys are not coming?" Grace shook her head
"We're gonna go into our room. It's been exhausting day" I pursed my lips but nodded and turned to Ray
"You ain't coming?" I asked hopefully but he shook his head rather looking away "okay then"
"We don't have to go if you don't want to" James stroked my hair
"No it's okay. It'll be fun" I smiled but deep inside I knew sharks aren't what I'm scared of

"Shit you look gorgeous" James said when he saw me in my pink bikini on the terrace.
Everyone else was already in the house watching movie or doing what Grace and Archer are doing. Tom said he can go with us and sit on the beach but James insisted. Of course
"Thanks" I smiled and walked towards the sea with James in tail "you know you should stop looking at my ass" I said not even turning around
"Can't help myself, it's so hot"
"I know" I smirked when I turned around. I sat on the send where waves where slowly brushing against my legs
It's already dark, no one else is on the beach. Not even the tourists or dog walkers
