"Hi"

"Sorry to bother you" Tom said as he opened the back door and put Avery's seat into the car

"It's alright. Mom kept asking about the trip" I chuckled and smiled at Avery with a wave when she sat into the car. She smiled back and waved

"Mom's are like that" Tom chuckled back and sat next to me

"How's your hand?" I started driving

"Same as two hours ago when you asked me" Tom teased with a smile

"I'm just making sure. Is it getting better? When will you put the bandage off? Should I call Jamie and ask?-"

"Sky!" Tom put his hand on my thigh "I'm okay. I'll take it off tonight and see how it's going" he put the hand away

"Fine" I mumbled "can you take it off in my house? So I know how bad it is?"

Tom looked at me boringly "fine, but only if you take off something too"

"Tom!" I hissed and looked at Avery in the backseat. She was looking out of the window not listening to us "not happening" I shook my head unbelievably "and be quiet, I want to listen to this song"

I turned up the volume of the random song on the radio and drove until we were in front of our house

"Long time no see" Tom teased when Lisa hugged him and chuckled

"Sorry I didn't greet you properly last time" Lisa apologized Tom smiled

"It's alright, I understand" he looked at me "sorry we're here early but sissy wanted to see Mike" Tom scratched the back of his head

"It's okay. I didn't start with the dinner yet but you guys can go and have fun till I do it" Lisa pushed us upstairs towards my room. Avery was long gone in mike's room right after we opened the door

"Mom" I scolded in a whisper while Tom chuckled "don't you want help with the food? Where is dad anyway?" I looked around

"He's in the garage. Don't mind him and go upstairs I don't want to be interrupted" Lisa said and pushed us harder against the stair case

"Jezus Christ" I mumbled when we walked upstairs into my room

"Your mom's cool" Tom chuckled when I closed my room door and we both lay on my bed

"Never seen her like that before" I frowned

"I thought you're forbidden to have boys in your room" Tom sat up in case he'd have to stand up and leave

"Lisa told us to go here. And dad trusts you tho" I pushed him back down next to me

"He does?" Tom turned to me with a surprised look

I nodded "before we left for a trip, he said 'if anything happens stay with Tom, he'll protect you'" I saw Tom smile

"I'm tired" Tom turned to his side to face me

I yawned "yeah me too" I shuffled closer to him "let's take a nap" I mumbled and cuddled to him making sure not to hurt his hand

"Are you sure your dad won't mind?" I frowned at Tom's question

"He won't find out just sleep already" I pinched his arm to shut him up

"Let's at least move so our heads are at the headboard. My legs are hanging from your bed it's uncomfortable" Tom whispered while I fought a chuckle and lay my head on my pillows
