SEEK PACES THE LARGE, HOMEY ROOM WITH A SMALL- BUT BEAMING- SMILE ON THEIR SHADOWED FACE.

They have been like this for the past few minutes. A fellow entity- Spirit, namely- convinced her to take a break, but Seek's idea of a break was vastly different from that of Spirit's.

When they saw her, Spirit too looked preoccupied. They guessed she was preparing for their Chase, where Seek would hunt down the Player and Spirit would light up the path. They were supposed to be opposing forces, but contrary to the roles they played, Seek and Spirit were amicable with each other. One might even go so far as to call them friends.

However, both were not thinking of the Chase, unlike the belief of the other. They were consumed by thoughts of the Player who was to partake in it.

"Hey, Seek!" a woman calls, interrupting their pacing. She is tall in stature with a soft purple glow around her. She wears white, showy clothing, with strips of burnished gold adorning her waist, thighs, arms, and neck. Her hair, a gorgeous purple ombre fading to a lighter pastel, accentuates her beauty. There are multiple eyes on her face- a pair of normal-looking ones and two extra, smaller pairs above and below, respectively. All of the eyes have differently colored irises in unusual colors, such as lime green, bright pink, and other vibrant shades.

"Hello, Eyes," murmurs Seek, stepping out of the shadows and letting light fall on their face.

Seek is tall as well- with dark, inky hair reaching to the small of their back. Seek wears a monotone grey crop-top with matching, comfortable-looking, high-waisted jeans. They wear pull-up boots specially made for running. Strapped to their thighs- using bands of fabric dark as their hair- is an assortment of weapons. They are including- but not limited to- sharpened and sheathed daggers, bottles of special pills, and an eye-catching potion or two. They are currently gathering their hair to a single point. With a piece of fabric between their teeth, they are nearly ready to tie all the hair neatly in place.

"You seem excited," Eyes observes, laying herself down on a couch. "More so than I have ever seen you."

"The chase," answers Seek, muffled. "The Player seems interesting this time," they huff, tying their hair with a flourish and pointedly staring at Eyes in hopes of muffling her as well- for Eyes had just given her a funny look.

"I really must get around to meeting them," hums Eyes. "Spirit has told me much about her. Yui, was it?"

Eyes looks up at Seek with all six eyes, smiling softly as Eyes always does when faced with her siblings.

Seek stares back- not so softly- with their two normal eyes and extra single one on their forehead. That single eye is the one through which Seek is able to receive information gathered by all the other eyes they have scattered throughout the Hotel.

They stare at each other for a while in silence, one sibling smiling and the other frowning.

"Well," Seek breaks the silence, "She remembers me. She's met Hide, and we have talked-"

"Talked?" breathes Eyes, flipping the right way up. "Oh, now I really must see her. Seek- talking to a Player and enjoying it nonetheless!"

Eyes sits up straight. "She'll have met all of us siblings by the end of your Chase, Seek. I will look forward to talking with Yui, and I hope you will too!" she rattles the end part off quickly, and- snickering now- fades, leaving only her bright purple glow imprinted onto Seek's eyes.

"NO!" groans Seek, sliding down to the floor. Eyes was going to ruin it for them. They were sure of it... it was that elder sister thing that she did all the time, embarrassing them and Hide both. "Pleaseeeeee... spare me-!"

In her personal room, Eyes snickers a little more. She can hear Seek groaning, but they'd have to deal with it. She was the eldest after all, and her responsibilities came with a few... advantages.

"Moooooom?" a meek voice calls out, slightly tenatively.

"Be right there, Timothy!" calls out Eyes. With a huff, she transports herself over to her son's room, while Seek has trauma flashbacks from other times Eyes interfered between them and a Player. Yes, it's happened more than once, and yes, Seek is pissed.

Seek patiently waits, watching Yui closely through their eyes. When watching the world through the secondary eyes, Seek enters a dreamlike state- no moving, blinking, or breathing more than strictly necessary. The other entities- Eyes, Ambush, and occasionally Spirit, to name a few- are used to such trances lasting for a few minutes. However, this trance lasted a lot longer, because Seek started it early.

Either way, Seek was ready when Yui stepped into the room. Excitedly, they shook themselves out of their thoughts and prepared their appearance. Some nearby entities- *cough* Eyes *cough*- noticed that they looked happier than usual.

Their inky black nothingness begins to bubble at their feet. Concentrating now, Seek sinks into the floor of the Entity's private room and rises up into the Hotel's Player Passage, where Yui was waiting for something even remotely interesting to happen. Accompanied with a huff from Yui, their theme music began. It was a bop, and Seek quite liked it. So, with renewed confidence, they rose- head down, they settled into a running stance.

It all started to go wrong the second Seek looked up, and laid eyes on the pretty, cheeky Player whom they called 'little vixen'.
