"Seam! Seam!" Jevil cried out to his friend.

"I'm right behind you!" His friend replied.

Both of them were running away from their usual spot. All villagers became what Jevil described as 'zombies', barely alive, if not unconscious, completely gone mentally; most of them were still on their feet, but they didn't move, eyes empty and completely paralyzed. They hoped to get away from whatever was happening in town, far enough so they could watch safely from a distance and figure out what happened.

After some minutes and ignoring the carcass of what once were lively people they stopped and breathed. Seam let his back rest against a mountain. Jevil stood on his feet, a few meters in front of Seam, looking over the town they once called home.

He came back to his senses "Seam" He turned around quickly to check on his friend "Are you okay?" He asked, getting close to him, putting his hands on his shoulders.

"I'm fine, simply winded out" He opened his eyes to look at Jevil "I'm not used to seeing you so worried" He added.

Jevil ignored his friend's commentary and turned his back once more to look at the scenery, letting his friend go.

"What do you think is happening?" Seam asked, still catching his breath.

"Gaster." He replied, angry. "I wonder what Y/N meant when--" Jevil hitched a breath "Y/N." Both of them remained quiet.

Seam started to walk up to him "Jevil, listen to me--"

"Y/N! I don't know where they are! We have to-I have to go find them-I--"

"Jevil, listen!" He got in front of him, prohibiting him to look at the dark world they lived in and made sure Jevil stared at him by putting his paws on his shoulders "We can't risk going there"

"But--!"

"No buts Jevil. We don't know what we're dealing with, and if someone knows, it's Y/N, and I'm sure they've figured out how to stay safe. Didn't they have a plan to help? To mess with him? We must trust in them, we have to. It's what we have." He said, saddened, but stern.

Jevil broke eye contact with Seam and moved his paws away from him. "We don't know anything." Jevil said and Seam sighed, tired "We don't know how Y/N is! We don't know how the people are! We don't know how the court is! We don't know how Gaster is doing this and why! If I could just have a face-off with him!--" Jevil's pupils started to fade.

Seam put his paw on his head.

Jevil breathed out, his pupils back. He snarled "I want to kill him".

"I think that thing's unkillable" Seam shared his honest but pessimistic thoughts. "I want to rest" He finished, going back to that mountain and sitting against it.

Jevil, hesitantly, did the same as him. He wanted to go out, to find you and to give Gaster his deserved punishment, but he knew better than to listen to his chaotic instinct when he had Seam's advice by him.

By pure habit, Jevil went to his so-called freedom upon sleeping.

Once more, he was met with the void. He realized where he was quickly and was about to go back when he saw fragments of a crystal-like material on the floor. Shattered.

Curious, he walked towards where the green material left a trail. He couldn't quite make out what was in front of him, so he was surprised when he bumped into something he couldn't see. He was about to try and figure out what it was by touch before a screen appeared, lightning up the void.

The mass, a black cumulus seemingly trying to take over whatever was inside there. He looked around it to try and figure out what was occurring to whatever was in it.
