Third Person POV:

Keigo frowns with worry. Knots began to form in his stomach as he thinks of what's happening.

After around half an hour, Keigo decides to speak up. "Do you want breakfast, Touya?" He questions. When the white haired boy shakes his head, Keigo frowns. "Touya, you need breakfast."

Touya ignores him, continuing his work. Keigo waves at a servant and tells them to go bring some breakfast. After a few minutes, two servants come back with plates of breakfast.

Keigo takes the two plates and sets them down, smiling at the servants. They leave, which leaves Keigo and Touya alone.

"Touya." Keigo says. "We have food here."

The boy looks up for a moment before looking down again, continuing to write.

"Touya." Keigo says firmly.

Touya sighs, looking up at Keigo. "I don't have time for this, Keigo." He says. "I- I can't be a kid anymore. I need to work." Keigo frowns even more when Touya looks down and grabs the stamp.

"Being a kid lets you eat?" Keigo questions. "Touya, you can't keep tiring yourself out like this, especially in an epidemic. You need sleep and food."

Touya ignores him again.

Keigo sighs in frustration. He stands up. "Touya, if you hate being king so much, why don't you just abdicate!" He exclaims. Thankfully no one was around. "I don't understand why you keep torturing yourself!"

Touya looks up. "I can't abdicate!" He argues. "Then one of my siblings will have to take the throne, and I can't do that to them."

"Well you need to figure out a way to help yourself!" Keigo responds. "I've been watching you actively make yourself miserable and I can't stand it!"

Touya stands up as well. "I can't stand this either, but there's no other way!" He continues to argue. He waves his hand at the stacks of paper. "It is miserable, but sometimes that's just how things are. I can't change that."

Keigo frowns even more. "Yes you can." He says. "You just need.." He trails off for a moment. "You just need-" He interrupts himself by coughing violently. Touya gasps and Keigo crumples to the floor on his knees, coughing and coughing and coughing.

"Keigo!" Touya exclaims, slipping into a crouch next to him. "Oh my gods, are you alright!?"

The blonde stops coughing for a moment, looking up at Touya. "Yeah, I just-" He violently coughs again. "...I don't feel so good." He whispers.

Touya's face paled and horror was painted onto his face. "Keigo-"

Keigo coughed again, this time coughing up blood. The two both stared down at his hand with horror.

Keigo groans, lurching forward. Touya grabs him by the shoulders. "Keigo- Oh shit." He says as Keigo coughs again. When he saw Keigo's eyes droop. "No, no. Keigo this isn't funny."

"Don't worry.." Keigo whispers. "I'm fine."

Touya looked up at the door. "GUARDS!!" He yells. Immediately, four guards slam open the door and take in the scene. "Get a doctor! Or a nurse! Get someone!"

Two of the guards rush out, and Touya looks back down at Keigo, who coughed again in his hand.

"You're going to be alright, okay?" Touya says, a panicked smile on his face. "You'll be- Keigo goddammit stay awake." He says as Keigo's eyes droop down. Keigo tiredly smiles up at him.

Several nurses come in, rushing over to Touya and Keigo. "Your Majesty, please move." A nurse says. Touya reluctantly complies, moving away for the nurses to do their job.

The moment Touya stops holding onto Keigo, he coughs again. "Sir, we're going to have to bring you to the infirmary." A nurse says. "We need to get you more medical supplies. We don't know much about the disease."

Keigo nods and two of the nurses set up a stretcher. They helped Keigo lay down on it and then began the trip to the hospital wing.

Touya was walking with them, worriedly looking out the windows.

When they got to the hospital wing, the nurses set Keigo up on a bed. Touya sat next to him.

"This is horrible." Touya says, running his hands along his face.

Keigo laughs. He was given a state of the art surgical mask, as well as a strange bubble covering his entire head. It was obviously done by magic, because somehow, he was able to be heard from outside. "It's not to bad." Keigo says. "I'm not actively dying."

"Yes, but you could die any second now!" Touya exclaims. He stops, taking a breath. "I'm sorry for our argument earlier."

Keigo smiles through his eyes. "It's fine." He says. "I'm just worried about you."

Touya raises his eyebrow at him. "You? Worried about me? Keigo, look at you right now." He says. "You're dying."

Keigo shrugs. "We don't know that." He says. Before Touya can responds, he continues. "And if I do die, I don't mind dying with you at my side." He grins again.

The young king looks like he was about to cry. "Stop being so cheesy, Keigo." He says.

A doctor came in, a blank look on her face. Touya looked at her deadly calm.

"Your Majesty." The doctor says, bowing. "It seems Lord Takami has the virus." She nods in Keigo's direction. "Thankfully, he doesn't have it too bad. We do have some patients who get the virus and get rid of it that quickly. Lord Takami might be one of those."

Touya sighs, feeling a weight be lifted off his shoulders.

"Your Majesty, we have been testing, and we think we're already close to finding a cure." The doctor says. "And we have already created functional tests to see if someone has the virus. This virus seems like an extremely deadly, but extremely curable disease."

The white haired boy smiles at the doctor. "Thank you for telling me." He says.

The doctor shakes her head. "It's no problem, Your Majesty." She says.

"Yooo, I'm not dying!" Keigo says, his voice slightly hoarse.

The doctor smiles. "Well, I better go." She says. "Goodbye, Your Majesty." She bows and leaves.

Keigo turns to Touya and grins. "Now I can continue worrying about you." He says. "Sucks to be you right now."

"I can still worry about you plenty." Touya says.

Keigo just continues to grin at him.
