Third Person POV:

"Touya, come here, dear." 'Rei' said, opening her arms in a gesture to Touya.

Natsuo's eyes widen. "Wait, Touya-!" He yells, trying to sit up.

The witch frowns at Natsuo, waving her hand in his direction. "You be quiet." She says, and Natsuo's voice suddenly wouldn't work. Two purple vines grew from the ground, pining Natsuo where he was.

Touya blinks. His eyes were swirling green and purple, dazed and confused.

"Mom?" He questions.

'Rei' smiles softly at him. "Yes, my son, come here." She whispers.

Touya walks over to her, completely disregarding Natsuo. The younger brother tried yelling or screaming or something, but his voice just wouldn't work.

Once Touya was in arms reach of 'Rei', she raised her arms in a welcoming manner.

But then the witch clasped her hands over Touya's throat, choking him. Natsuo silently screamed. Touya gasped and coughed, but made no move to defend himself, still so dazed.

"Isootis Arachnieos." The witch whispered, choking Touya harder.

Touya's skin was instantly sucked of color, and his eyes lolled up in his head. He went limp, collapsing against the ground.

Suto suddenly flew in through the window, grinning at Maura. "I thought we agreed I would grab the king?" He says.

Maura scowls at him.

The two turn to Natsuo, who was still silently screaming curses at them.

Suto raised his eyebrow at him. "What do we do with this one?" He says. "We had no orders for him."

"Just knock him out." Maura says.

Suto shrugged and walked over to the prince. Natsuo pulled at the vines, but Suto swiftly kicked him in the temple, knocking him out.

Then Suto walked back over to Maura and Touya. "What are we doing with the king again?" He says, teasing Maura as he bends down and picks the young king up.

"Oh Madulla, did you kill him?" Suto questions, looking down at Touya's pale face.

Maura rolls her eyes. "No, simple comatose spell." She says, waving her hand to the ground to magically clear a path in the rubble for herself.

Suto shrugs and heaves the unconscious Touya over his shoulder, letting the limp boy drape over him like a ragdoll. The two leave the hallway, and Suto grins, before throwing another bomb out the window, where it detonated seconds later.

The rubble from it makes the rumble on the ground shift, but Maura just sneers at Suto. "We have other people throwing bombs." She says. "Disposable people. If we get caught because you keep throwing them, I'm grabbing the king and leaving you behind."

Three more explosions come from somewhere else, in rapid succession.

"That's our queue." Suto says. "Can you magic us out of here?"

Maura scowls, but snaps her fingers. The two disappear with the unconscious king.

They reappeared in the gardens, which, coincidentally, so were Keigo, Tenko, Izuku, and Shouto. Except they were kind of far away.

"We need to find Natsuo and Touya." Izuku says. "The people bombing are obviously after him again."

Keigo nods. "Why are we out here again?" He questions.

"Because we can't stay in the castle to talk like this." Shouto says. They hear a distant explosion. Izuku winces. "I'm worried about Natsuo-nii and Touya-nii as well, we shouldn't have left them there."

Tenko frowned. "Do you hear that?" He questions, hearing a distance conversation.

The group goes quiet, listening for something. Keigo frowns as well, picking up a few of the words.

"..ura, why..st..you.....I could..ou." A voice says, the words fading.

Without speaking, Keigo waves for the others to stay quiet and follow him. He tread carefully around the bushes, hearing the words become clearer than they were a moment ago.

"Must you always be so annoying?" A voice says.

A chuckle. "It's part of my personality, Maura." A voice responds. "Perhaps you've heard of them." A scoff followed by another chuckle.

Keigo frowned. That name sounded familiar. Was it.. Fuck. He thought, his eyes widening slightly. That's the witch. He paused when he was about to turn a corner of a bush. He heard the two people speaking were right around the hedge.

He peeked around the corner and had to swallow a gasp.

Suto and Maura were facing each other in an enclosed area, with Touya still unmoving over Suto's shoulder. His skin was so pale and ashen that, with his eyes also mostly rolled back in his head, he looked dead.

Keigo's hand drifted towards the long dagger on his belt. Izuku noticed and he grabbed his sword, something he picked up on his way out of the castle, which was also attached to his waist.

"You bitch." Keigo muttered, loud enough for Suto to notice and turn. But not in time to dodge Keigo jumping towards him and slicing his arm, making Suto let go of Touya, which caused Touya to slump towards the ground. Keigo jumped toward Touya, picking him up before jumping a few feet away.

Maura held her hand out to use her magic, but she stopped when she felt Izuku's sword against her neck.

Suto was held back by Tenko, with him pulling both Suto's arms behind his back and pressing his foot harshly against Suto's upper back and neck.

"Is he okay?" Shouto questions, rushing over to Touya.

Keigo frowned and felt Touya's wrist, trying to check his pulse. When he couldn't find it, he moved his finger to Touya's neck, again trying to find his pulse.

"Where's his heartbeat?" Keigo whispers to himself.

The blonde puts his finger below Touya's nose. "He's not breathing." Keigo says, terror creeping into his voice.

"What?!" Izuku exclaims.

Maura grins maniacally. "Poor little child king." She says.

Keigo froze. Rage billows up in him, and he slowly turns his head toward the witch.

"What did you do?" He questions, voice cold and eyes full of unchecked wrath.

Touya wasn't dead of course. But only Maura knew that. One simple spell to trick all who see. Maura wasn't just about to tell them their king wasn't dead though, she had things to do.

"Poor little Touya Todoroki." Maura crowed. "Not even a year into being king and yet he's already dead."

Keigo starts shaking. Whether it's from fear or absolute fury.

Before Maura could speak another word, Keigo jumped towards her at light speed, grabbing her by her shoulders and pining her against the ground.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?!" He snarls. "CHANGE HIM BACK!"

Maura just grins up at the blonde's rageful face. "How can I bring someone back from the dead?" She questions. "It's impossible."

Tears prick Keigo's eyes.

That's when Maura glows.
