Third Person POV:

Touya pushes through a rushing crowd of doctors, all talking and exclaiming and running around.

"Where is she!?" He yells.

A doctor comes up to him and pulls him down a different hallway. "Your Majesty, you have to understand, she's already stage 3 and moving at a fast pace." The doctor rushes his words. "We don't know if she'll make it through the night at this rate."

Touya's face darkens into a fuming glare. "Yes she will." He insists.

They approach a door surrounded by even more doctors and nurses freaking out. Touya pushes through them and makes his way into the room.

Fuyumi was lying on a hospital bed, the strange magic bubble surrounding her head. Her eyes were open, and she watched Touya rush to her side. "Touya-nii..." She whispers, her voice hoarse.

A witch was sitting next to her, holding her hands over Fuyumi's arms, casting some sort of healing spell.

Touya grabs Fuyumi's hand tightly. "Fuyumi, how did this happen?" He asks.

Fuyumi let out a hacking cough. "I-I think it might have been because of my trip to the Aizawa kingdom." She ponders. "Don't worry, Touya-nii, I'm just glad everyone else is okay." She pauses. "They are okay, yes?"

Touya nods. "Yes, Shouto and Natsuo are fine." He says. "And so is Mother."

Closing her eyes, Fuyumi sighs. "Well, I'll be okay if you're able to find a cure in time for them." She says. "Please don't worry about me." Fuyumi coughs again.

Touya's eyes fill with tears. "Fuyumi, you're going to stay alive." He says. "Okay? You're going to survive this."

His sister smiles. "I haven't seen Mother for a few weeks." Fuyumi thinks aloud, opening her eyes again.

"You'll see her when this all blows over." Touya insists. "You're only stage 3, you still have two stages left for the doctors to find a medicine. You just need to hold on, Fuyumi, please."

Fuyumi laughs, although it gets cut off by another cough. "The doctors already told you, didn't they?" She says. "They don't think I'll make it through the night."

Touya's expression turns desperate. "Stop thinking like that!" He says. "I'll find a way."

A doctor comes in. "Your Majesty." He says. Touya turns to him. "There is a way to prolong the effects."

"What is it?" Touya asks immediately.

The doctor scratches his clipboard. "It's risky." He says. "One of our magic induced coma, it will put Her Highness's body on hold, if you will." He taps his clipboard. "Though it will only work for a period of time, and once she is out of the coma, in the case she doesn't have the cure, her body will succumb to the disease almost instantaneously."

Touya frowns in concern.

"But if we do nothing," The doctor continues. "The Princess will die tonight."

Touya turns his head back to his sister. She watches him, no judgement, no annoyance.

"Touya, I don't need you to do this for me." Fuyumi says.

The young king stares at her. "Fuyumi." He says. "I need you." His eyes were desperate, his face twisted with worry. "I'll get you the cure. I will." Touya squeezes Fuyumi's hand once again before standing up.

"Your Majesty, for the spell to work, everyone except the spell castor must leave." The doctor says, waving at the witch to prepare the spell.

Touya and Fuyumi lock eyes. "I love you Touya." Fuyumi says.
