Third Person POV:
Shouto and Izuku were both sitting side by side on a couch while Keigo was pacing in front of it.
"I just don't understand why they of all people would want to kidnap Touya?" Shouto questions. He waves his hand in the air. "If anything, why didn't they kill him?"
Keigo stops pacing. He rakes his fingers down his face as he lets out an exasperated sigh.
"The capital is full of strange ideas." Keigo says. "They probably need him for some sort of plan they need." He glances out the window. "I'd say let's hope they don't try anything again, but there's no point in hoping for something like that."
Izuku shifts slightly, glancing at Shouto before looking back at Keigo. "So the guards need to protect Touya even more than usual?" He asks. He leans forward, elbows on his knees.
"Yes." Keigo says. "But even some of the most skilled guards in our kingdom might not be able to keep away the people from over there." He grimaces. "And if Suto is the person they're sending.. I don't know what to do."
The door opens and closes, and Natsuo and Tenko enter. "I already told the royal guard to mobilize their best troops to protect Touya-nii," Natsuo says, walking toward them. "but if you're right about the skill set of this "Suto', we might need more than the special guard." He looks out the open window and frowns thoughtfully. "Suto was the one who came and got him the first time, right? Do you think they would send someone twice?"
"Suto got Touya back to the capital." Keigo says, like it was obvious. "The capital doesn't let go of officers if they don't make a mistake."
Natsuo sits down on a chair, and Tenko pulls up another chair to sit next to the second youngest prince.
Izuku blinks. His face twists in confusion. "So they'll keep sending Suto over and over again until he makes a mistake?" He questions. "That seems strange, but it's besides the point right now. What do we do when he comes again? You said Suto's a highly trained officer, yeah? How do we avoid him?"
Keigo blinks. "Ideally, we would lock Touya in a safe being guards on all sides 24/7 until the threat is neutralized." He says, quoting a text book from the kingdom library. "But we can't do that without getting suspicion from the public, which isn't an option. So if we can't avoid Suto... We must let him come to us."
"What!?" Natsuo yelps. "Are you crazy?"
Keigo barks a laugh. "Probably." He says. "But Suto won't try again until he for sure knows his odds are in his favor. That gives us an advantage and disadvantage." He raises two fingers at the group. Shouto blinks at him. "The advantage is that if we plan it right we'll know exactly when he'll show up. The disadvantage is if we mess up, be sure to know he might snatch Touya out from under our noses. Also, if we plan it wrong, he'll know we know he's there, so he won't come."
Natsuo, Tenko, Shouto, and Izuku blink in unison. "So, we need to plan?" Tenko says.
"That's what I just said." Keigo deadpans. Everyone stares at him with a blank face.
Tenko raises an eyebrow at him. "Sure, okay." He says. "What plan?"
...
"You lost him?!" The cruel woman yelled, lashing out at the witch. She threw a mug at the hooded lady, but before the object could hit her, the witch waved her hand and a green glow encompassed the mug, making it pause in the air before being chucked to the side.
"They took me by surprise." The witch said, her voice raspy and crisp. She dusts her hand off on her robe. "And then they jumped out the window. It was not my job to confine them."
The cruel woman sneered at the witch with a look of disgust. "It was implied." She snarled.
The witch shrugged. "Was it?" She says. The half of her face you could see, which was just her nose and mouth(the mouth being painted with dark black lipstick), tugged up in a smirk for a moment. "It wasn't in the job description."
"Don't get snarky with me, young lady." The cruel woman says, pointing almost accusingly at the woman. "I'll have you killed." She throws another mug at the witch, but the witch dismisses the object with her magic again. "Your as useless as a scrap of cloth."
The witch raises her eyebrow. "Yet you use me in your most important missions." She muses. "Funny."
The cruel woman makes an outraged cry and pulls at her hair. "You're infuriating!" She yells. Another object was thrown, this time a pencil container. The witch waves it off again.
Another hooded man entered the room, making the cruel woman switch her attention to him. "Well?" She questioned. "Are you able to find him again?"
"Everything takes time." The man said, revealing his voice to be the sound of a young man. "They're being extra careful." He gently pulls down his hood, showing his face. Calm glowing pink eyes and puffy short pink hair, he could be a model or something.
The cruel woman crosses her arms and huffs. "I want that idiot king in this castle by next week or your dead." She threatens. "Just because you're our best officer doesn't mean you're not disposable, Suto."
Suto smirks. "And here I thought I was your number one." He teases.
"Find him." She hisses. "And take the witch with you."
Suto bows in a teasing way. "Yes, Madam Prez." He says. "Come on, Maura." He gestures to the witch. The hooded woman grimaces at him, but follows him out the door anyway.
The cruel woman turns away from the closing door and to a guard next to her. "When is the army ready for an invasion?" She questions.
"In seven days time, Miss Fumiko." The guard responds.
(A/N: I decided her name shall be Fumiko bc it SUPPOSEDLY means intellectual, if we can trust our dear friend google)
"Good, good." She says, looking out the window.
She glances back at the guards. "Inform me the moment they're ready." She says.
