Third Person POV:
"There's a kingdoms meeting today." Shouto remarks as he watches Izuku draw.
Natsuo snaps his head to him. Izuku looks up and blinks. Tenko and Keigo stare at Shouto.
"Doesn't that mean you all have to go?" Izuku questions. "If I remember, all of the royal family has to attend."
Natsuo sighed, rubbing his temples. He looks across the huge table in front of them. Papers were scattered everywhere, pencils were close to places that were scribbled, a quill and ink bottles were around and one had tipped over.
"Yes, Shouto and I have to attend.." Natsuo says. He picks up a quill and dips it in an open ink bottle, before scribbling a note on a wanted paper. It was of a nameless blonde girl who had apparently killed twelve people in three hours. "We're allowed to bring a plus one, so one of you guys will have to stay behind."
Tenko rubs his fingers together. "I think it's best if we don't go at all." He says.
"Tenko's right." Keigo says, patting the younger boy on the shoulder. "We need to find Touya as fast as possible. Going to this meeting will take up too much time."
Izuku bites his lip. "So far we haven't gotten much info other than the fact that he's still in the Todoroki kingdom and the people who might be involved." He says, waving his hand at the table. "We do need lots of time."
A knock on the door makes everyone turn to it.
Fuyumi slips through the door, giving everyone a smile. "Fuyumi!" Natsuo's eyes widened and he launched himself at his sister, enveloping her in a hug. "You're alright!"
"Hi, Natsuo." Fuyumi says, patting her brother's back. She looks over at the rest of them. "How are you all?"
Shouto smiles at his sister and Izuku waves. Tenko also waved, but very timidly. Keigo nods in her direction.
"Why are you here?" Natsuo says, worried. "You should still be resting."
Fuyumi's soft smile fades slightly. "I noticed that all the nurses were avoiding my questions about Touya-nii, so I came to ask." She says, her smile disappearing completely. "Where is he?"
No one responded. Fuyumi frowned. "Alright." She says. "Who has him? Do you know?""
"We're not sure." Izuku says. "We knew he was captured by this witch and a soldier from the capital, but the witch used her magic to teleport them all away." He grabs a piece of paper and hands it to Fuyumi. On it was a picture of Maura and Suto. Fuyumi scanned the image with a frown.
Keigo placed a hand on his hip and waved the other hand in the arm. "I could track them, but they're not letting me." He says.
Shouto frowned. "They're severely skilled." He argues. "Assuming it's just them, that's still two against one. And the most powerful witch in the world."
Fuyumi nods. "Shouto's right, you can't go alone." She says.
"Why not!?" Keigo exclaims. "Touya's all alone somewhere, and we're sitting here doing nothing!"
Fuyumi frowns at him in her stern sister's face. "...Fine, I'll let you go." She says.
"What?!" Izuku and Tenko say at the same time.
Fuyumi holds up one finger. "IF, you let us, plus some guards, trail you." She adds. Before Keigo can interrupt, she continues. "Do not say no, this is what I'm agreeing with. Take it or leave it." She raised an eyebrow at Keigo's scowl.
After a moment, Keigo sighs, giving up. "Fine." He says. "But you all need to be far back, and only move forward when you get my signal. Otherwise you all might screw up."
The princess beams. "Alright!"
...
They brought three guards with them, and they began to move out. Shouto and Natsuo stayed behind to go to the kingdoms meeting.
Shouto and Natsuo had to go without Fuyumi, since she wanted to go with the group and they could excuse her because of a lie that she's still sick. Natsuo was grumbling as the two made their way to the meeting area.
The two entered the huge long room, full of rulers and diplomats.
Queen Ryuko looked over at the two and nodded in a greeting. The two responded in a similar manner.
"Let the meeting commence." An old short white haired man says at the head of the table. He had a scar on his right eye. That was the Supreme Priest of the Shrines of Breva. He taps the table with his gavel.
Natsuo and Shouto took their seats next to Queen Fukukado, who smiled at them sadly.
"Thankfully, the cure for the disease has spread through every kingdom." Queen Ryuko says. "So far it seems the disease will not evolve drastically. And my dragons don't seem affected, so they don't need the cure. But it still needs to be spread to the commoners."
A girl raises her hand. "Excuse me." She says. Her voice is solemn and sad. "I have urgent news."
"Who might you be representing?" The Supreme Priest asks, folding his hands in his lap.
Shouto frowned at the girl when she looked up, he had seen her before. Her short pink hair was hard to forget. Oh, she danced with me at the ball. Shouto realized.
"The Aizawa kingdom.." The girl says. "My name is Mina Ashido, I'm a noble from the Aizawa kingdom."
The Supreme Priest nods. "Alright, state your news." He says.
Ashido nods. "Princess Eri from the Aizawa Kingdom's royal family has died from the disease." She says. People gasp in shock. "She fell ill twelve days prior, before succumbing to the virus yesterday."
Shouto's eyes widened. He had just seen Eri.
"The funeral is planned to be set in seven days." Ashido continues. "All of you are invited by His Majesties. As well as the nobles of the court."
The Supreme Priest dips his head in acknowledgement. "I will send my regards and see if I can come." He says.
The somber news affected the rest of the meeting. They just talked about the fact that the disease was dissipating and how the finances were still up and running. Apparently, a river in the kingdom developed a sink hole, so a village near it was affected.
Natsuo and Shouto left the meeting silently.
