The Green Lantern Corps of Willpower stands as a testament to peace and rule of law across the universe, as the Guardians intended it to be. The Guardians understood what they were getting themselves into when creating the Green Lantern Corps, as they built the Corps to be an intergalactic police force wielding the most powerful weapon in the universe, but they also imposed heavy limitations on the Corps and forced them all to follow a moral code to ensure that no member would take things too far. This includes the Green Lantern Rings themselves imposing certain rules on their own wielders, such as a no-killing rule, that forces each member of the Corps to follow the rules set by the Guardians. However, no technology or establishment are without flaws, and the Guardians' rule is not absolute. There have been several Green Lanterns that have bypassed their rings' limitations through the sheer strength of their willpower alone, such as the Dawnbreaker, but these circumstances are rare and often end with the exile of the Lantern in question.
Green Lanterns are often seen as the most basic Lanterns, but there are several reasons why that sentiment is somewhat valid. The first and most obvious reason is that they were the first Lantern Corps to ever exist, dating back to 1940 when Bill Finger first created Alan Scott, the first ever Green Lantern. For reference, the Sinestro Lantern Corps didn't first appear until 2006 and the first character who relates back to the other Corps is Carol Ferris, who was created in 1948. The second reason for why Green Lanterns are considered basic is that their emotion is very vague. "Willpower" as an emotion is not exactly constricting, as simply believing in yourself could technically count as willpower. Overcoming obstacles and challenges in life, something that literally all living creatures do on a regular basis, is also a qualification for willpower and thus would make you eligible to join. Because of the vagueness of the definition, there are more Green Lanterns than in any other Lantern Corps.
Just like in the DC Comics canon, there are many contenders for the Green Lantern Corps in the world of Remnant, but there is one character that I think transcends the rest when it comes to their true strength of character in this regard. My choice for the Green Lanterns of Willpower is... Jaune Arc!

Again, there are many other characters who could have taken this spot, but I chose Jaune to represent green for one very simple reason: his entire plot line in the show is a giant rags to riches story. Jaune was a joke of a character when he first arrived at Beacon Academy and was the butt of every joke for the first three volumes. The whole point of his character was that he never belonged in a school meant for warriors, but he signed up anyway and managed to luck his way in. Luckily for him, he found his saving grace in the form of his soon-to-be girlfriend for five minutes: Pyrrha Nikos. Pyrrha trained him to be a decent Huntsman-in-Training and got him on his feet so that he could hold his own against a Grimm. While she didn't last very long in the story, her impact on Jaune is present throughout the rest of the show.
Once Beacon fell and Jaune was forced to rough it on his own, his skills had significantly improved. Although he wasn't much help to the team without his weapon, he eventually got it back and instantly proved his worth by... not dying instantly? That seems to be the bar we're setting with him. Anyway, Jaune not only managed to not keel over in the middle of the team's travel to Mistral, he did his best to protect his friends and made sure they all made it to Haven safe and sound with him. It's here at Haven Academy that we get Jaune's biggest feat of skill thus far (pre-Volume 9 because I haven't watched it yet): Going toe-to-toe with Cinder Fall and not dying. Not only did he not die or even get injured that badly, he also landed some close blows on Cinder and unlocked his Semblance: Aura Amp, which lets him transfer his own aura to other people and power them up.
This instantly skyrocketed Jaune's potential and made him potentially one of the strongest non-magical characters in the series. Not necessarily in terms of raw power, I think Nora and Yang easily push everyone else out of that category, but he shines as a utility fighter. With the inclusion of his Light Dust Shield and the Disc Grenade in Volume 7, Jaune became the true knight in shining armor he was meant to be.
