The Whore That is Accountability

Accountability is a motherfucker. As suggested, accountability will fuck your mother.
As will it fuck you, your father, your entire family, your friends, and your lovers.
But, who really cares? You could always just blatantly lie. Right? Omit. Right? Or you could do neither and just ignore it all. Right?
The thing is though, accountability never uses a rubber. Don't worry, don't worry. You ain't burnin'. Accountability doesn't lie. So it's clean.
But all of a sudden, you're nauseous. Snapping at people who you may think are attacking you when it's not even that deep.
You feel a tickle in the pit of your belly. It grows and grows seemingly every week... you go to the doctor.
They suggest you go to therapy and you're confused. 'I need a fucking ultrasound! What the fuck are you talking about?' You think.
You're pregnant, you just know it.
You are. Just not with a child. Accountability has implanted in you the seed of guilt, shame, reality, and conviction.
What did you do? What did you go through to indirectly make you do what you did? Did you hurt someone? You hurt someone. You hurt a few "someones".
And all because you were hurt huh? What is it? Your pappy wasn't around? Your mother didn't love you properly? Were you never truly heard?
Those all may very well be true, but how is that those "someone's'" problems? They didn't do those things to you. They didn't deserve those things.
Just as you didn't deserve the things that were done to you. But we're grown now. accountability seems like a bitch, I'm sorry, a whore, but it is necessary in your life. Just as it is in your mother's, your father's, your entire family's, your friends', and your lovers' lives. Just as it impregnated you, it did them just the same. Because we all need to grow up and take accountability for how we act and react no matter what's happened to us.
